  1. Theirs a guide in the premium section, but you have to be a paid member to see it.
  2. Moved your thread to the correct section. It sounds like the thurst bearing in the gear box.
  3. Doesn't sound like the fan is the problem, more likely to be the thermo switch sensor. Located near the thermostat housing. I think its the brown sensor, as this set's the speed of the fan.
  4. It's original, but not my cup of tea. Sorry
  5. Archenemy, are meant to be pretty good and they come out to you. You could also try styledyanmix (sp) I guess no one can guarantee it won't damage the paint, its just risk you will have to take. But what ever you do don't cut the rear arches, as they are double skinned and are for strengthening the rear.
  6. This is the part number for the front spring disc upper for earlier cars 1H0 412 341 And this for the later cars 357 412 341 A Hope that helps
  7. Got the Mk4 chrome button, but there is no way it's going to fit, with out cutting the origonal one off and sanding it down. And then cutting the Mk4 off, and drilling all the plastic out of it, and then sticking it on the Mk3 handbrake. If that makes sense, will try post some pictures up tonight explaining it better. In the mean time I'm going to try and get quote off VW for Mk3.5 one.
  8. If you could post the part numbers, that would be a great help Sharky. As for the Mk4 button I will report on this tonight, when I pick the part up.
  9. Do you know how or what he's used Mike? I've ordered a button for Mk4 handbrake, as they are separate part. Not sure if it is going to work, but it's only £2. So it's worth a try a thought. Will post on here if it works.
  10. Has anyone changed the button on their handbrake to a chrome one, like the Mk4.
  11. I looked into this before, and couldn't find one anywhere. Ended up buying the one from Vagparts, as it looked shit with it falling apart.
  12. Sorry guys, can you take me off the Saturday list as I will be doing the show and shine instead. Probably won't win anything, but i like taking part. And if i do it will be for the club anyway. LOL
  13. Thats where the water pump is. You need to loosen the engine mounts and jack the engine up a little so its at an angle. There are few good duides out there. Try doing a search on google. I've got one but its on the work computer.
  14. ETKA list the part as 191 881 663
  15. Maybe do the chains while your there. And i would Definitely change the clutch, if it hasn't been changed before.
  16. Check out the buyers guide in this section, plenty of info on there.
  17. The black sun visors, were fitted to the Mk3 cabs I think. And it wasn't an option on the highline's as it would have looked daft with the grey headlining
  18. The IN02 means it's due its annual service. The other one sounds like a fault with the display.
