  3. well guys having got back from my "pre launch training" - more of a badly labelled excuse for a rag in some nice cars - at vw headquarters milton keynes i have to say the new r32 is an absolute hoot!!!! taking it out for a test drive with a bmw130i Msport, an audi a3 3.2 quattro, an impreza wrx and another r32(dsg) i can safely say its better than the audi, personally i prefer it to the bmw and i think its equal to the impreza in all but outright accelleration. . . .(but then the impreza has a turbo and 280ps) the dsg one is good but personally i prefer the manual - i guess you could get use
  4. your car is definately windsor blue colour code N5Y unless it's been resprayed . . . .
  5. the thermostat is the same on all year golf vr's. . . as are the connectors and hose joins

  12. if it is mulberry it is NOT a storm they only came in blue with black leather or green with tan leather . . . . will have "storm" under the corrado badge on the rear AND "storm" instead of "Karmann" on the rear edge of the centre console by the gear lever . . . .

  18. it's only held in with a single bolt.. i think its a 5mm allen key . . . literally just undo then remove

  20. if your car is after 1995 then it will have a factory fitted immobiliser . . . . . if not then ????????????????????????????? it is possible you may have reset the ecu somehow - was the battery flat for ages before you put a new one on ???
  21. sounds like an immobiliser problem to me . . . . it'll start and then cut out after about 2 seconds if not working properly not sure why it works once then doesn't . . . take it to vw and have a diagnostic done . . .
