  1. what a waste. and why use old rusty sheet metal to do the arch work?? odd.
  2. i'm not too keen on deep dish rims personally, not a fan of type A's. RS's.....mmmm nice but not for me unfortunately.. the d90's will be back, the refurb is underway, but i'm on the lookout for something different as i have had them for 2 years now and fancy a change... trouble is they suit the car (mk3's) perfectly in both size and shape and i am really struggling to find something better...... speaking of change i picked up some new bits today pics to follow - when i take some..... (h)
  3. :-p lol me neither....they are just temporary because the tyres on the d90's are worn out. :-(
  4. they do just click off but you need to remove the glass 1st to get to the clips that hold it on.
  5. you are right nick, i would love a VR corrado. may have to buy one soon (ish)..... don't put 9's on it - it will look gay as fook. put some proper size wheels on it!! :-p
  6. i have a spare £15.00 will that do??????? :S
  7. minging! don't ever put those rims on your car again rich! they are lovely. dunno what you mean!! *-) :-p on the other side they were graphite grey!!
  8. at least i am honest!!! :-p and it's always been the same, some bits are sensibly priced, others are just stupid money! most if depends on popularity - if vw sell loads it gets cheaper...
  9. wooo.. you know what i think! get swapping those bits over from the valver!! :-d
  10. one with a part number ending in "T" will work, but yes they are stupid money new from vw..
  11. thanks mate! they are 8x16 D90's with 205/45 tyres on. not sure how much it is lowered by as its on coilovers so i dropped it a bit at at time till it was right! :-d the rear arches have been rolled so they don't rub at all on the rear, otherwise they would have done for sure.
  12. did you get those from ebay? that's a good price! and they are genuine too by the look of it! nice one.
  13. damn right mate... i just love raddos. i may have to buy one. and a mk1.
  14. the engine speed sensor should definately be the crank one. see below, may be useful? :S [lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1201303800_594_FT215604_camcrank.jpg][/lightbox] the crank sensor can be seen in red, and the cam one in green. you obviously know what it looks like, as you have changed it, so you have done the right one for sure. maybe it is worth doing both of them??
  15. and... vw part number for the adaptor above 1H0 971 671
