    Bolts fix the carriers and calipers together though dont they? Id be a bit worried if they just pull apart without undoing the bolt!

    If im going to fit TT calipers to my VR then what Goodridge hoses do I need? Ive heard there may be a difference in banjo bolt fittings between the 288mm VR calipers and TT calipers. Does that mean I need TT front brake lines and VR rear brake lines?

    I think the minimum size adaptors are about 15mm which means you would be running an ET 10.

    Does it smell of burning oil? If so it could be the oil breather pipe from the rocker cover which has split and oil is dripping down on to the exhaust manifold heat shield.

    I had the same problem with my starter motor, ended up getting a friend who works for a generator company to sort the earth strap out. Did this after I replaced mine with a 2nd hand one though! Doh! I believe there is a plastic cover over the starter of some sorts. Not to sure as I didnt replace mine myself and I havnt got my Bentley manual here at work. Will have a look later.

    Ive got a Trimsport rear strut brace in mine but havnt done the arb's yet. Think it helped a bit around roundabouts but not that noticable. Had to slightly modify the rear parcel shelf supports to clear the rear strut brace but apart from that it fitted fine. 8-)
