I think it will not close normally if something is obstructing the window but on full closure you dont really want to walk away from you car and activate the alarm and it not shutting all the windows because somebody has put there arm in there when your back is turned....
IIRC the offset of the hub is not altered, its just the position of the disk on the hub, hence needing spacers along with the caliper carriers to move the caliper to the 'right' position.
Hmmmm pint of vodka.... You got the brakes on then? How did you find the install? Did you use the TT calipers? Did you use goodridge hoses? Hows the braking now? As you can guess I still havnt put mine on! :-D
You can get a late spec VR the same (or better) spec than a standard highline minus a few trim bits. I think highlines are a higher group because they came as standard with a few things that normal VR's only had as options.
Speeding is £60 fine with 3 points if its a standard speeding ticket (i.e. not going really stupid speeds). Not sure about paying for mods but ive never paid for them, just a £25 'admin' fee to change the policy. Just make sure I add loads of mods at the same time ;-)
