  1. I agree with that entirely. For the price you expect precision engineering because after checking the manifold out, it's not exactly a mechanical Labrynth is it?
  2. One of my part-time staff works at Euro Car Parts. He gets me some VERY good deals at the moment. They supply the Bilsteins and this deal could well make him employee of the month for both his jobs.. I'll keep everyone posted.
  3. lol - Soon there'll be nothing left to group buy. I'm only buying because mine are bent. I'm gonna get a price on Bilstein PSS9's as well while I'm at it.
  4. I hope you were talking Schricks at the time..
  5. f00k. Guess I'd better slap it on on Sunday then.
  6. Why wouldn't the Atmospheric Dump valve stop this from happening? Told you I was a dumb-ass..
  7. I ran the car for a short time without the flexihose and it was SO MUCH quicker. But when the ECU tried to keep up with the air going in all directions, eventually the car wouldn't run at all.
  8. The intake isn't doing this though.. hence the reason VF-engineering released an updated version. For £100 I could get the new intake, but I don't see why I should when I paid £2500 for the system in the first place!
  9. Simple really.. the left over boost is injected into the air rather than being recirculated back into the path of the MAF. I've also been thinking about inserting some tubing into the actual intake pipe to direct the recirculated air AWAY from the MAF.. but I'm just far too dumb to pull it off. 10. Care to apply for a Credit Card with 6 months 0% Interest and pay it off when you have the reddies?
  11. Mine seems ok. Pete you need to edit your first post mate. Handy hint - As I've said before - Suck the vacuum to see if your flap is turning. I presume it is ok if it opens and closes under vacuum (whilst sucking it). Make sure all of your Bolts are torqued up before testing it.. Mine seems ok.
  12. How's about a little suck on the Vacuum instead? If the flap moves under vacuum then it's ok I presume.. BAH!
  13. Er hang on.. so if it DOES move easily it's faulty? or is it the other way round.. your advice says either way it's faulty.. I think.. *tears beard out - no hair left to tear out*
  14. Amazing how good your car can look through digital photography eh?
  15. Jules - I know we're going over old ground.. but wouldn't an atmospheric dump valve solve the MAF problems on OBD1?
  16. Melted Pistons here we come! Just stop it right now. Before something VERY bad happens.
  17. I AM patching it together.. ready for the cabby. VR6/Cabriolet suspension is the same fitting Want it all running for Rolling road day mate. Then off it goes into Top Down land!
  18. Typical. Guaranteed mine is Faulty. Last for Samcos.. Faulty VSR.. bent front Coilies and wheels.. *tears hair out* Can we find a fail-safe way of testing the flap from Vince before we fit it? Please!
  19. It'll be quite soon as I need them to get my car on the road..
