    cool. I've changed the fuel pump relay.. I can get em for around £4. It's the ECU relays that are £35 a pop.

    Right then. One of my ECU relays is causing my car to cut out whilst driving. Symptoms - Car cuts out as if stalled (hear relays going clickity click click). Oil light comes on nothing else. I can open and slam my door shut again and the engine will come back to life with out having to turn the ignition key. If I turn off the ignition and try to start it again without slamming my door first (yeah laugh all you want) it won't ignite and the ABS light won't reset until I slam the door (presumably linking up the contact again). So I'm 99% sure it's a faulty relay - question is.. is there one t

    I have a corrado box with Quaiffe LSD. The diff is great, reduces torque steer to next to nothing in the dry.. I've found that it doesn't improve my straight line starts much (still lit the tyres up @ pod) Six speed box is my next mod (some time away) Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it put an extra cog between 2nd and 3rd? B&M DO produce a short shift kit for the mk3 VR6 Golf. I've heard although it reduces throw, it makes the gears feel 'uncertain' when you change..

    It was in this month's PVW technical advice section. It was some guy from Awsome GTi who said that VAG do a £75 SERVICE exchange on a MAF. Lets all get on the blower and give them some grief..

    Put a switch on the Idle Stabilisation Valve, so it's on when the car is cold and off when it's warm. Mine just started doing this recently and disconnecting the idle valve solves this.

    I have a friend who's got everythingin his that isn't a highline. Including rare as rocking horse shit CREAM leather as standard.

    the ACE look good (the one just above the BBS) BBS are a safe bet but a bit boring. I like the Molinas too.. but the silver looks a bit cheap..

    oooh.. and the build quality of the Jetex system knocks socks off the scorpion. It doesn't go as 'brassy'

    I have a Jetex system, which was nice and refined compared to my previous Scorpion system, back pressure was improved too. The Jetex is almost unnoticeable on the move even with my supersprint de-cat, with a nice mean 'burble' on idle.
