    Don't know if this will be any help, but just before my RS1800 festa got written off I had the gear linkage sorted on that, honestly mate, I could not believe the difference it made to the car. It felt like new, crisp and clean gear changes and also seemed to add a bit of power, i'd always thought the festa was down on power but doing the gear linkage seemed to breath a new lease of life into it, unfortunaely it got written off a week later ~

    What can you do with 16's on the car, will brembos or other upgrades fit? I got 17's so shouldn't be a problem but if I decide to get 16's then I wondered what options I would have. Cheers guys and gals :-)

    The key to ebay is bid as late as possible and bid a large amount, if no one beats it you will pay the smallest amount needed to win. Obviously you won't always be there to see the end of the bid but if you are this is the best way IMO

    I must admit mate, I had no experience with components yet, (soon to be changed tho) so I was only guessing. I know I had trouble setting my system up to sound good, an as soon as I did I crashed me car and have had to start all over again in the Golf

    My Kenwood head unit has loads of settings for treble frequency, have you tried playing with those. Maybe you need to put more power to your sub and less power to the tweeters?
