  3. This is one of my favourite Mk2's, timeless styling and one of the best engines VW produced. Top work! Simon
  4. Take it yours is all done now then Claire? Pics, pics, pics......... Simon
  5. Its my work Car Park, so not a lot of choice as to whether I park in there or not, luckily a few of us, start early and all park in a row, so the "we don't give a toss" company car boys don't slam there company wagons doors into ours. Plate goes on and off depending on my mood (you got to love velcro!) But only changes between this and a yellow one (both have the same incorrect spacing) I have no front plate either and as yet have not had too much grief! Simon.
  6. I shall be there all going well! Simon.
  7. Found this on my phone last night. Took this last year when the car had just been painted just to see exactly how wide the car was despite looking as though the arches are standard. Not the best pics as taken with my phone but you get the idea! A few people at my work, couldn't understand what had been done to the car, despite it being in bits at the bodyshop for 4 months! So we parked them up together to see and had a game of spot the difference! Think mine looks a lot wider than my mates standard one even though he's got the extra with of his standard arches! Interesting how mine doesn;t loo
  8. Very nice car, liking the rims a lot, really set it off a treat. Simon.
  9. Very nice mate, nice solid/subtle mods. If only VAG had done them so well from the factory! Simon
  10. I know what you mean about not all mods being practical JezMoz, but none of mine are particualarly inpractical. Removal of rear wiper: Car has never been dirty enough to use it even when I had one on it! (I'm anal about keeping it clean!) Washer Jets removed from bonnet: They have been relocated out of eyesight, so still have them on front. Front Fogs: Can't remember the last time I actually needed to use the front fogs on any of my cars. Hidden Lock on Tailgate: No difference in use, you just can't see it thats all. As for the Mk4 lights theses are actually an asthetic and performance mod as
  11. Looking very nice now Adam, wheels really set the car off. Simon.
  12. Modded my car too look how I wanted it to look, not to conform to any "rules" Ps. Jezmoz you've got a debadged grille in your sig are you trying to disguise its a VW at all! lol ;o)
  13. Have a look at my ad in the For Sale section for some mint wheels for sale. Simon.
  14. Very nice mate, future mods should have it looking very nice too, as it'll really benefit from a drop in ride height! Simon.
  15. I've got a G-max kit on my Mk2 GTI that cost me less than £200! Its a great bit of kit, fitted well, nice and low and fantatsic ride quality, I'd definately recommend them if your on a budget. (Although I've not been in a VR with them fitted) Simon.
  16. I don't usually have names for my cars, but mines called Six Appeal, funny enough, due to a girl years back when I first got it coming out in it and later saying it had real "Six Appeal" (ie. not sex appeal!) There was loads of us sat outside at the pub, and it was so funny it sort of stuck! But a lot of the time it depends who's talking about it! Especially if its the G/F! Simon.
  17. Cheers mate got your mail, will reply asap! Def count me in! ;o) Simon
  18. Where from and how much where the centre caps, been trying to get a set of them for ages! I need them in my life! Simon.
