    ive used this in my 8/16v...no problems so far...some main dealers use this oil as standard...i know my vr has always run on it!

    As a rough guide you tend to find you'll go through 2 pair of front tyres to a pair of rears, due to the weight of the 2.8 and the fact it's a FWD IMHO.

    without sounding picky....I think its a 215 not 225.....you seem it base your theory on your fiat.....but we are talking about a vr6, a completely different car.......you say 225 45 16 but the vr has a 15inch wheel as standard...ive always been told to put the best tyres on the front and don?t know any one who is running a 225 tyre with out arch mods! iam not trying to start somthing but i cant agree with what you say [ Edited Tue May 04 2004, 04:55PM ]

    yes i think they did...vw put the vr6 in the sharan and passat but i think thats about it!

    225 45 15 !dodge why ?! will 225s fit on a standard rim ?! they sound far to wide ?! you will also change your rr with a 45 profile tyre! [ Edited Tue May 04 2004' date= 01:23PM ]

    Nice one chaps and thanks.....will have a hunt round tomorrow to the engine bay to be cleaned six appeal..Ive polished the manifold.. Its still not finished but is an improvement over the original finish

    cheers Justin...was thinking about it...gave the car a clean over the weekend wheels off inner arches jet washed & bumper blacked' date=' have gone over the engine bay but I need to find a place that can steam clean the lower end of the engine...problem is the front and door bottoms are covered in stone chips, the other problem is all the cats seem to congregate on my car and have skating comps at night ~ have left quiet a few scratches....didn?t know if this would affect my chances B)heres how she's come out so far !     I got some from lindvale vw in colchester last year...i paid (i think)£4 +vat each...if you want the ones with bbs on..they are over double the price as i remember
