    I love the vr but the bottom line is the m3 evo is imo is superior......as for them being slow around town lets not forget they are a 5sec to 60 car and are limited to 155.....an m3 evo is standard 320bhp and will kill a vr any day but they are expensive to maintained if you use main dealers so independents would be preferable! olly....get your self out in a couple of them and see what i mean and i'm sure you wont be disappointed my mate is selling his if your interested

    I'd say you'd be extremely lucky!!! I'm having problems with 215/40/17......8" rim and a 40mm drop. Can't see 225's sitting in the arches without some serious work imo.

    Yes mate the very same, do you know something I don't?? &| lol.........Only that I was going to get them too they look great but I wanted so see what they looked in the flesh first...they told me they had some on order but they were so vague and none of them seemed to know any thing about the wheels I ended up getting some rh split's instead.....do you know what tyres you are getting as £100 pounds for 4 tyres seemed very cheap to me ?!     I know how you feel.....just got the wheels and cant afford to put 205s on until the end of the month ~ ....just had 5mm taken off the rear hub adapters which has improved the arch lip clearance no end but still a problem on a very bumpy road [ Edited Thu Jun 10 2004, 09:18PM ]

    215-40-17s still................may change them for 205s but very poor at the moment so they will have to stay as they are......cant take passengers thats all ~

    I run a ramair(stop thinking that pittuf ) the sound is great and it did make 193 at the last rr with the ramair but ultimately it all comes down to how the car drives on the road, the car felt flat above 4000rpm and didn?t feel like 193 to be honest....if it sound your after then go for it but if you have expectation of your vr going faster you maybe disappointed!
