  1. yeah and mine... I used to have a half wood/half leather wheel on my highline
  2. I don't think this is where I got mine from but these are similar... http://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/tvr-car-parts-detail.asp?Part=Washer+Jet+Kit+-+TVR+Upgrade+%3CBR%3ETVR+Part+No+RD70&CATID=7&SUBCATID=54&PROID=1096 You can just about see them in these pics (click for bigger)...
  3. Another option is to relocate them to the wiper arms... I did that on my syncro using third party TVR jets. They were small, clipped on the arm and I run the hose along the underside of the arm where it was a staight fit to the existing pipework... they only cost £15 for the pair as well!
  4. You'll find non highlines with leather and aircon as well and all late VR6s had colour coded bumpers, door strips and non plastic arches btw they didnt come with wooden steering wheels as standard
  5. The aux pump is behind the coilpack... a silver cylinder held in place by 2 rubber rings with a plug in the top. Why do you need to change the main water pump? if you're temp is ok and you're not loosing coolant then should be ok... If you cant hear the aux pump just after youturn the engine off then thats the one needs replacing
  6. If you're getting coolant as well, you can get a G12 equivalent from euro car parts now and is a load cheaper than VW
  7. What a coincidence... so does Pete!
  8. There should be a code in the log book... it will look something like LK 7Y
  9. Have you got water marks on it? It should polish up again fine, if it doesnt come up by hand pop round and I'll run the mops over it.
  10. I have rare 15" standard wheels on mine!
  11. Winter mode? I didn't think your wheels were polished nat? Anyway brad... winter wheels are gay!
  12. you'll never find a day that everyone can make it so best to try and set a regular date that suits most I reckon
  13. I think it's something to do with the re-circulation so perhaps there's a different heater matrix for airon/non-aircon cars and you have a non-aircon one? That's my guestimation though rather than gospel!
  14. 17's with standard shocks or a 30mm drop will look rubbish so I'd either put your 15s back on as they're only 6.5"so won't rub or get your front arches rolled and keep the 17s
  15. Isn't there's two different sorts though? I though the early cross spoke ones were different to late ones
  16. btw someone stole both our bikes from our garden a couple of days ago so I know how you feel!
  17. I've got some slightly tatty wide euro fogs and some standard orange (poverty spec) indicators... you're welcome to borrow them so you're legal until you can replace with what you want
  18. He's avoided doing the nooks and crannies If doing it by hand then patience is what you need, I found wrapping sandpaper around various tools helped get in awkward places but it can be done, I've polished a complete VR manifold by hand and with the aid of various drill attachments I always start at the lightest paper that will easily get rid of any casting marks so usually around 80 grit, sometimes 40 on a manifold... always use a sanding block to keep things flat and even and make sure you get rid of EVERY mark left by the previous grade before moving on to the next because when you get to t
  19. Just had another look and I can see pink coolant residue around the hoses on the top of the oil cooler so maybe its a split hose or it's dripping down from the crack pipe above. I can't see any around the thermostat housing but I really need to get it up on a ramp so I can see better. If I knew what was broke I could replace it... I just don't want to end up replacing bits for nothing!
  20. I'll have a check... I really couldn't see anything around the thermostat housing but I'll have a closer look
