    Dilemma....

Mate, Congrts on the impending nuptials!!! I would go a different way I am afraid... It is not ideal and may not be popular!! I wouldn't do anything to the car..... Take the auto enjoy the trip and spend the money else where.... It's your honeymoon!!! Failing that you need to look and spend the right money and get a car to the spec you want etc.. The car failing after either you've done work or the issue it would cause on the first trip of your marriage will haunt you forever if you get it wrong... PS there is more to the change than you first think. What warranty etc on the gearb

  6. Oil cooler failure causing the water in the oil. Temp sensor and MAF causing the lambda/running fault.

    The Vento............

Don't scrap it! It's a rare car so probably worth the effort!

  8. Depends on how much you like the MK3 I guess ? Rot is always a problem on the underside. I guess the first thing to do would be to get it up in the air and see how bad it is. I just scrapped one due to the underside on both sides rotting away and it started out as small holes, just like yours. If you have the money for a full body resto then go for that if you plan on keeping the car. I just went for a full colour change on mine and to me it's worth it a I love the car and don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon.

    Dilemma....

Get some pics of yours up and that'll help the decision making lol. Pete's got a very valid point with the unknown car, foreign country and naggy mrs scenario though,

    The Vento............

Keep it up dude, if you scrap it you've lost all your hard work that you've already put in. No point selling a games console just cos your stuck on one game Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
