    Can someone please confirm exactly what is needed as I have found a breaker. I have been quoted 380 for ecu, engine loom, inlet manifold, throttle body, lambda and maf does that sound about right and a fair price.

    Just make sure it has been run over first so it matches the car a bit out of shape like the owner lol

    Yeah just start it lock to lock leave cap off and then bugger off for a hour or so and let it settle. That's all I do at work I leave them for few hours occasionally going back and redoing it.

    Mine is coil pack was looking into turbo software and untied Motorsport as do most tuners don't support obd 1

    Or is it worth just selling my golf and buying a later obd2 model

    I always recommend getting a head skimmed and pressure tested if its been removed. More for peace of mind rather safe than sorry. But as for how many mm I wouldn't know as we outsource the job to a local specialist.

    Does anyone know what is needed to swap my obd1 over to obd2. Or if anyone has a link to a thread or site i tried searching but only using mobile and can't find anything. The reason I am changing it is I want to run a turbo setup and would be easier if it was obd2.

    To bleed the system take the lid off the reservoir and lock the car side to side with the wheels on the floor. Then switch the car off leave the cap off and let the fluid settle should be quite frothy as it lets the air escape then just repeat a few times until you are happy with it.

    I tried a couple of weeks ago to send an email via there site but no reply. I did find a company called Bahn brenner in the states they sell the united Motorsport chips. A bit pointless paying to import something from USA if its made in England tho.

    Can someone recommend me a few parts For the engine management side if things. I'm trying to make a parts list but I have no idea what or where to get it from. Ie chip setup do I need a pro maf a wide band lambda.

    Mine should be coming off soon hopefully might give it a go myself. Would the paint not crack or peel with the heat in the bay.

    I would have offered to help but I seem to be busy fixing everybody else's car. It is torture for me knowing my car is 10 foot away from me all day at work and I can't touch it.

    Yeah that's what I figured they are all pretty much the same size just needs a bit if modification. Does anyone know how much a s3 dash is worth so I can make an offer on it.

    I have a chance at a dash from a 06 Audi s3. My question is how much do these go for and will it actually fit the mk3 I know it will need a bit of work.

    I have 2 valeters who owe me a favor so mine should be shiny. I still haven't got all the parts together for the turbo build. So trying to just get it painted and interior in for show.
