    Hi guys, im currently in the process of saving a mk3 from the crusher as its too good bar a bit of welding on front sill needed (was a blind buy as initially i wanted to pillage bits off it for my vr6 restoration) i need these standard bits for it, ive broken a few and either scrapped the alloys or exhausts as ive never been able to sell them on! im located in south london, BR4 postcode, i cant drive far, due to loads of surgery on my neck / illness, long story......... i am after, standard gti alloys with good tyres, standard gti 8v steel exhaust from cat back, standard headlights and stand

    Had more of a clearout today! LOCATED SOUTH LONDON (north kent, bromley :-) ) vr6 front textured bumper, slight damage on corner £free, 3x sill covers, ok condition £5 the lot, dash bar £5, front crash bar behind bumper £5, gti / vr6 carbon canister £3, brake resivoir bottle non hydraulic £3, gti 8v clutch cable £3, gti / vr6 early brake servo with abs sensor on the bottom £5, gti 8v airbox £5, gti / vr6 small rubber power steering hoses £2 each, gti 8v metal water hose, they usually rust and leak, this is three years old £10, sunroof motors £5 each, gti 8v gearbox dust cover £3, front windsc

    i have a rado manifold, its much different compared to the 2.8 golf one! much more open! will sell for the right money but they are rare! throttle bodies seem to be more common!

    looking on ekta the vr6 does not have one, its a tdi one you chop slightly! ive got a genuine vw one and fuck me the engine was clean underneath!!

    do you really need to seal these up with mucky black rtv sealant?? its a nice elring gasket ive bought, but i see people have mixed views on using sealant? whats the point if it already has a gasket? 2.9 vr6. kind regards

    first of all that you for your help on here! the crank pulley and auxillery shaft timing marks are spot on on the corrado vr6 engine, the new schimmell 263 cams half moons also look spot on with the cam locking tool used, but if you look at the cam lobes there is a slight difference, ive marked it in red arrows so you can see, its only 2mm out i would say, but would it do any harm? look at the rear lobes first ive marked with a red arrow, compared them to the blocks that hold the cams down, you can see a 2mm or so difference, also look at the lobes facing upwards, one is at about 12pm and
