VR6 engine crank seal - where does this plastic mount go? gearbox side

as title for my golf vr6 / corrado 2.9 conversion, im ordering the crank seal on the gearbox side, my parts man asked me if i want the mount with it? i ripped the crank seal off a spare vr6 engine i have in the garage and cant see this plastic white mount, so where does it go?? im guessing its some sort of helper to fit the seal?

hi guys my golf vr6 2.8 engine is smokey and it runs on a dizzy, the corrado 2.9 engine i am putting in runs on a coilpack. so i need to remove the sprocket bolt from my current golf 2.8 dizzy engine to put the dizzy bracket on the corrado 2.9 engines sprocket. this bolt is extremely tight, how to i get it off without slipping the chains and mucking up the timing? also that bracket, is there a certain way it goes onto my new corrado 2.9 engine or can i just put it on any way??? also is it a normal threaded bolt and the thread is not the other way??

got a guy coming tonight, are all golf mk3 vr6 gearboxes the same from 1992 to 1998?? also did every golf mk3 vr6 have 100mm gearbox cups that bolt in with an alan key? kind regards

the coilovers are made by JOM, still have the reciept dated april 2013 so i believe they are in warranty still, the car has been off the road since may 2014 so they have had just over a years use! just need to buy some c-spanners off ebay which are a few quid and thats it :-)

here are some of the pictures of the corrado vr6 engine to go in my smokey golf, first of all i am not blaming the guy that sent it so please dont think i am aiming this at him, but obviously i didn't book it so i need to chase him up on a claim with the courier company, why on earth should i pay for these new parts? i am friggin peed off to say the least, the cellophane packaging on the top of the engine was soaked to the brim in oil also. have a look here guys at the pictures how its been treated, i put red text in the pictures which is kind of hard to read, so put the text above the picture
