    well update, replaced iginition switch from the gti im breaking and everything comes on and sometimes not! checked all fuses and seem ok.

    both been replaced brand new luke! now when i turn the ignition on all the digital clocks like the mileage and time go blank and handbrake light is the only light visible???

    hi guys, my vr6 was running fine before the starter motor got stuck, so i hit the starter motor with a hammer and it started. but since it started the oil light flashes when engine is at idle and rev counter does not work? is the oil pressure switch the tiny sensor on the oil filter housing, ive replaced the two big ones as they were leaking a year ago and speed sensor has been changed.

    dont need a new one buddy, just a used one to start a car up and move it! :-)

    need a cheap working battery about 50-60ah to get a car started, used to be a few on ebay local for cheap but cant find nothing! im in west wickham in kent.

    for acceleration etc???? seems to be a few choices out there for the golf vr6! how much difference did you notice once fitted? what power gains do they give??

    on my mk3 vr6, the ratchet will only click up about 3 clicks now, pull it up any further and it will fall straight down again! the ratchet has definatly gone, is this a common thing on these?? just ordered a new handbrake mechanism anyway!

    not sure what vag cat is?? basically water is still coming out of the right hand side sunroof drain and its totally clear of dirt, think the sunroof seal is letting in too much and the drain cant handle it so its backing up and pouring into the car.

    as title, sunroof seal is buggered and scuttle panel seal is completely gone near enough! golf mk3 vr6 1992. regards :-)

    golf vr6 obd1! ive got a de-cat, 6 branch and a re-map from stealth racing! how much difference will a lightened flywheel make? also how much BHP does it give you?

    not fussed mate as long as i can get it back to mine, rear brakes arent seized if that helps. its a 15 minute drive from my house if that on a good day.

    yes my car is pre august 1992, ive just had the car fully set-up at stealth racing 4 weeks ago with a re-map. ive also had it on a probe with a de-cat and it was 0.9 CO. so the same reading with a brand new cat on the car?? weird??
