    right as you know my front footwells were soaked as my front sunroof drains were blocked badly! i lifted the rear carpet up today and the passenger footwell at the back was wet and the drivers side rear footwell was bone dry. its a 3 door golf vr6 and i am getting the rear passenger floor bung sorted on friday, the rubber on the floor bung doesnt look split though so how is the water getting in?? :-( also where are the rear sunroof drains loacted if there is any??? :-)

    a mate just text me asking this regarding the orange light on the right, is it fuel pump or something? sorry i havent got these lights on my VR6 so no idea +o(

    problem solved, these drains were so badly blocked and the drain pipe on both sides wasnt even connected to these rubber hoses i have in my hand! bad side is all the underlay is fucked and carpet needs to come out as its soaked! :-( not rot on the floorpan though :-)

    after a new underlay for the passneger side of my golf VR6 as its soaked due to the sunroof drain leaking. anywhere that supplies them?

    had a quick look them it started pissing down with rain badly! theres no bolts that connect the seat to the floorpan like my other cars! i take it there must be a circlip somewhere you access?

    question i want to know guys is surely if blocked water would back up and fill the sunroof hole up and not empty into the passenger footwell?

    cheers guys its the sunroof drain, i poured some water in it and instead of coming out the drain it came into the passenger footwell, ive tried cleaning the drain out and got a lot of muck out but no water comes out of the drain still! :-( it also comes out of the drivers footwell as well when i poured some water down the sunroof drain!

    other thing i was thinking of was the cover over the heater blower, maybe that seal has gone?

    mine run on pink stuff for 2 years (wheni got the car), but ive replaced the power steering fluid with the green stuff last month, no leaks or problems in the time ive owned it.

    this has only just started to leak on the passenger side footwell when it rains, any deas where its coming from? ive got an idea but want to see peoples opinions first. best regards :-)

    got the MOT in 2 months so im sorting everything out early. :-) basically when both the rear wheels are in the air of my 1992 golf vr6, if i click the handbrake up 3 clicks you cant move the offside wheel, but the nearside wheel with some force you can turn it around. the car did have a new offside brake caliper when i got it. it was mentioned at the MOT last year that they were slightly different. so any ideas whats possibly wrong? :-(

    hi guys i have a very early golf vr6 1992 J registration. getting a 312mm brake disk conversion but where can i get the correct brake hoses that bolt into the capilers and into my existing brake lines?? if you have the part numbers and a place i can call that would be great?? :-)

    got someone who is welding a plate into the floor of my golf vr6 but he said remove the carpet first. how long will it take and is it a pain in the arse?
