  4. having a discussion on passionford about what to use, some of the underseal has come away on my golf vr6 and ive ground it all down to bare metal, im using some over-paintable upol gravitex stonechip......... but what primer is good to use on bare metal?? zinc based or 2-pac epoxy based? http://passionford.com/forum/general-car-related-discussion/472178-u-pol-gravitex-stonechip-what-primer-do-i-need-on-bare-metal.html
  5. ive got a bloody decent one if you need it!! perfect rubber seal which is rare, some minor crack at the bottom and its minor! does not bother me!
  6. there are genuine new ones on ebay! just buy some stainless ones and have them powdercoated black mate!

  8. thats long isnt it? plus i wont be able to use my schrick with the obd2 throttle body. i believe vince at stealth can do it, but andy said i might destroy the maf sensor up all the time with the stage 2 charger. with emerald you dont use a maf so no destroying it.
  9. right just had a long chat with Andy from storm developments, he recommends buying a emerald ecu as the early OBD1 models wont run right etc.......... also use a walbro 255 fuel pump. what is the emerald management like? regards
  10. vortec vf1 stage 2 charger at 8psi i believe, standard maf (alloy casing one) and red top injectors. schrick inlet manifold, de-cat pipe, racelands 6 branch exhaust manfold and 263 cams. had a remap with stealth years ago but there too far away! whats your phone number? regards

  13. ive got a very good tensioner if you need one? i have greased the bearing up as they dry out! bloody expensive thing!!
  14. its metal lukey i believe! so if i took mine off would it make a difference??
  15. as title, if you look at the front of the car its more to the left, held in with two bolts, whats the point in this lump of metal?? its square shaped!

  17. im in bromley in kent, already had a remap years ago at stealth but there a little bit out the way! just wondering if there is anyone more local that knows a stage 2 supercharged golf vr6 inside and out that can do it? regards

  19. so they dont do a actual gasket for the vr6 then? just mucky sealant?
  20. how do they come off on the mk3 golf vr6? looks like the subframe needs to be dropped in guessing??
  21. would live it in my vr6 but got to take the window out to put this one in as the black markings are on this one! hmmmmm never seen these before!
