  3. thanks buddy, the wiring change is going to be an issue as i think the abs is spliced into the engine loom also. obd1 and 2 run a different abs pump

  11. hi guys, i have a golf mk3 0BD1 vr6 and went to view a guy i know who is selling a OBD2 vr6. mechanically its easy to put into my car so no issues there with myself, wiring is the issue as i am as thick as S H I T when it comes to wiring, do i need to use all the wiring from the OBD2 into my OBD1? for example, all wiring from the 46 pin connector to the ECU, wiring loom to the fan (fan connector is different to mine), twisty connector to the engine as it all looks connected and all loom to the bulkhead? also light loom as the later cars the engine and light loom is all as one i believe, wher

  15. got the opportunity to buy a turboed vr6 and put it in mine as the car is rotton. turbo says on it type TO4E A/R50, anyone know what make these are and if they are reliable and not japanese crap?
  16. it will be my original gearbox buddy, runs very well for the last 5 years, changed the oil in it, given it hell and pulls great still!!
  17. how much for the clutch buddy? will the standard gearbox cope with 300bhp at 7psi? maybe cope with more if i get the boost upped if mapped? or will gearbox say goodbye?
  18. im scrapping the charger idea as the car was a dog. as title, my car is a 0BD1 vr6 1992. i may have the opportunity to buy a rotton ODB2 turbo golf vr6 thats rotton, mapped by stealth racing. would it just be a straight swap into my OBD1 vr6? engine, OBD2 loom into fusebox and mapped ecu? simple as that? also the gearbox in knackered. so would my standard gearbox handle 300.6bhp? uprated clutch needed maybe??
