  8. an image for clicks: as i can see you can just replace the TPS(black bit) found this as well, perhaps could help. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?3326916-vr6-Obd2-tps-problems
  9. yeah that is correct. perhaps you got the incorrect wires plugged in? should fix up once the new switch is installed, either that or the switch that was sent could be a factory fault, things like that do happen on occasion.

  12. what year model is the car? pre 1995 should be 4 bar, after 3 bar....
  13. if the tps is not fuctioning correctly then the car should feel a bit sluggish as the signal is not being sent to the ECU correctly. also when messed the car will idle irratically and idle above normal 900rpm (like 1300rpm) replace it, its not expensive for peace of mind, also when you remove it you will see that one of the four clips on the inside of the TPS will be broken, it looks like a cross on the inside.
  14. went on a google hunt for these.... $2000 and up for a set!!! jeeeeeeeeeeeeez
  15. you must have replaced it with the incorrect switch, there is 3 switches on the oil filter housing, which one was it? the green wire is the oil temp switch (smaller than the other two)
