  1. Liking the sump guard. I've had no problems with bottoming out with my ride height at the moment. I do need to sort my camber though and have simple solutions in mind. When I've got it done i'll post some photo's. Glasgowrob what have you done to solve your camber?
  2. Some more quality work there buddy. Still fighting the dust demons in that barn?
  3. Rotrex and forged, now you've gone and got me all excited.
  4. Has anyone used K-mac stuff before? http://www.k-mac.com/
  5. Might have an adverce affect with people still doing it, but not properly and illegally.
  6. You'll get a lot more satisfaction knowing you've a sorted car and done it yourself.
  7. The allen key is to drain the filer housing before undoing and removing so you don't get covered.
  8. 36mm to undo the housing and then replace the filter inside. You can change the oil more often than annually. Best way to preserve your engine.
  9. On any car I've had before I've never gone for larger leads and was curious as to what they bring to the table. I would rather buy better quality than just "large".
  10. What oil are you using and how many miles on your engine?
  11. I've had a closer look at the cat and will not be that hard to fabricate a decat pipe. So I think i'll be keeping the manifold and down pipe and making up a replacement. Anyone know the thread for the Lamda sensor? Is it the same as the VR6 and M12F?
  12. Only been a member a few months and worth the money time and time again. Happy Anniversary.
  13. Cheers Gavin. Next time i'll have more time to sort things out but this time was a "I need them now and it's Sunday". Poor prep on my part. Lesson learned.
  14. Nice, shiney plugs. Wasted stuck down that dark little hole. I've got 2 spare now Jake if you need or i'll just keep them until next time and it'll be like a little treat only having to buy 4.
  15. Yes really easy to sort out. Box it up and send it to the address i'm about to pm you and i'll get rid of that nasty bit of junk for you. lol
  16. Bought some plugs today at short notice and from (dare I say it, Halfords). They listed the NGK Platinums for my car specifically and then they were in a pack of 4. So I had to buy 2 packs @ £39;99 a pack. Surely if they make a plug for a specific car and it's a 6 pot, they should come in 6's. As you can probably tell, i'm a bit romfed.
  17. Is it a case of the bigger the lead the better?
  18. Tony and Jake are round this afternoon to borrow some tools. You are more than welcome.
  19. Replayed it a few times and like Craggsy said you can see the rear has gone light and there is some oposite lock. Really unlucky to flip like that on an open track. Or he had some uber sticky tyres.
  20. There must be something wrong with the setup of that car to flip with no other input than grip and speed. Agree that a roll cage is a must if regularly doing track based events.
  21. Must have been an awesome experience and the photo's / video got me green with envy. Would be interested to hear more about the mk4 kit you are putting together.
