    Didn't know if it was of any help but I spotted a vr6 Rado at my local breakers today. The breakers are Silverlake and they are in Botley, Southampton.

    Usually find the Ladies pay more attention to detail which pays off in the end result. Top build.

    I've been in discussions to use my car as a test bed to get a decat pipe made for the 4 motion. It will be all quality parts; 316 stainless, water jet cut flanges and hydraulic bent piping. If enough interest we'll get the pattern jigged and if not i'll just get mine made up insitu. Possible to use the same setup but modified for those that want to go turbo. Any questions or comments welcome.

    I won the auction on the BMC CDA and just waiting for it to be delivered. Ended up at £132 including postage.

    Had the front and rear badges off today and painted. Just waiting for the paint to harden up before putting back on.

    Lots of really good information and i'll keep my eyes peeled for more updates. DP's seem to be a problem but I have seen another who cut open his cat, removed the inners and welded shut.

    As it progresses it will make a very substantial window on the forum/club for any casual browsers. Maybe a link on the home page predominant enough to grab attention?

    Now I have the stance right on my car and a set of satin black alloys, my next idea is to paint the headlight surrounds satin black along with front and rear VW badges. Has anyone else had the headlamps apart on a mk4 or even done the same? I also got myself an ebay bargain in the shape of a BMC CDA last night, just waiting for it to be delivered.

    Would be interseted to see which decat is the popular choice for the 4 motion. I have been trying to get an old cat to rip out the internals.
