    that would work too lol Would i just need to unplug the pump in the engine bay.?? To be honest l am not sure, I would guess it is a simple case of unplugging the pump and sensors ect… but to stop the light coming on you would need to get it mapped out or as above find a dial set to replace it with

    hhmm thats never fun I would start with changing the sensors and see if that sorts it and if not then start looking at the pump, as l am sure you dont really want to buy a new pump if you dont need it but as you appear to need to change 3 of the sensors l would just replace all 4 while your at it

    I would suggest clearing the codes and seeing what comes back before buying bits, but l would think that you will end up replacing the speed sensors it should be safe to drive, but you wont have abs, your brakes should still work fine, if l am wrong someone will be along to correct me

    I think l remember seeing a similar post a while ago, the conclusion of which was that the VR coilovers work fine on the GTI but it doesn’t work so well the other way round, because of the weight difference.

    As far as l understand it bud coilovers make the handling better, or at least all the sets l have had have improved the cars handling. They are stiffer, so help to prevent roll, although you do get what you pay for

    If they broke the pipe whiles doing work on your car, it is their duty to fix it free of cost unless they warned you that it was likely to happen before the work was started and you agreed for the work to go ahead, knowing the risk. If he refuses to fix it speak to the office of fair trade and inform then of the situation and it should be sorted in no time, however l would check it when you get it back to make sure the work has been done right as they might end up bodging it to get rid.     could the squeaking be your top mounts? There seem to be a few airbag slip ring's on ebay, that is assuming all Mk4's have the same, I would guess they do? I have no idea about the oil leak

    put up other taxes l would think, income tax, NI, food ect.. and working for the Gov, we dont get a pay increase for the next 3 years, but that doesnt stop other stuff becoming more expensive, so having to pay out more but not getting more in. I think there are hard times coming for a lot of people to be fair even if l was flat broke every month l don’t think l would sell the 4mo lol
