    Did you have the engine running when you did the scan? I only ask as l have heard that the Vehicle Speed Sensor always shows up on the VR6' if the engine is turn off for the scan. But l might be mistaken?

    damn that seams a lot for a 1.2. I have recently renewed my 4mo insurance, got fully comp for just over £1400 and l am 23, but l am insured through an American company at the mo so its a bit cheaper. I am dreading heading back to the uk full time insurance is killer!

    Think l have about 11k left to pay after 5 years of payment, but all under control. hindsight saving would have been a better plan, but damn that was a fun year

    I think l might try and come up for this one, sounds like it could be a good weekend and l am in Germany then anyway, so it shouldnt take long to get there

    Well if it is the noise you are looking for, i would say stick to the open cone filters and run a cold air feed to it. I got a large generic one at a show a few years ago and it has done the rounds though all the cars i have had since and it always sounds great, more so now with the v6:) I know people like brand name stuff, but if it doesn’t bother you look for a good quality generic one it will save you some cash and normally sounds just as good.

    l thought it might be something to do with the power stearing, but then l would hope that l would feel some change and it seams to handle the same as before this started?

    nope only seams to be when l am moving l notice it most when l am going slow in 2nd, but that might just be cos there is less noise in general (engine, wind, road ect..)

    Hi all, I am at a bit of a loss and l was hoping someone could shed some light on this. ok, after l have been driving for a few minutes every time l turn left my car whistles? its not a grinding or screeching, it just a loud high pitched whistle (l have never heard anything quite like it from a car) and only when turning left :^) . It doesn’t seam to be affecting the car, that l have noticed, but l am getting a bit frustrated with it and not know/being able to find out what it is to stop it. so if anyone has any ideas l would be most grateful. Save my sanity!! 8-)

    ok l know this might seam like a silly question as it says 6 cyl, but this will work on a V6 4mo yes? it just my golf has developed a slight misfire at lower revs mainly between 1000 - 2000 and l think it might be the coil, so time to replace

    I would just drop them an email bud, most of the companies have english speaking people. It is a bit far from where l am at the moment in Germany to go see them, but if you have no luck getting an english speaker let me know and l can get your request translated into Germany for you, if that helps
