    yea it is, dont know wot was going thru my head.....selling it?! pah! never!! trying to look after it but its does cost alot of money.........tho bit of a result. my mrs was talking about getting a small loan cos we need to pay for some wedding stuff up front (even tho its a year away) and i had a good idea - jus bung an extra £500 on top and that can be for the car! result!

    :-(not a good one, tax ran out the other day so had to spend every last penny on that, hope ive got enough fuel till payday! then went to put the sidestrips back on after a quick spray over and can only find 3 of the poppers that hold them in!? so they aint going back on atm... fogs/indicators/reflectors where all sprayed black to match the tinted lights - but ive gone off that now and gonna get some standard lights (if anyone near wants to swap for my tinted ones??) but started getting the black paint off the fogs and indicators, only to drop a fog light and smash that........ and i thought

    are skoda octavia rear callipers the same? theres a whole rear beam from a tdi taxi at work and ive been eyeing up the callipers for ages lol

    i got paid on thurs.......already - £370 on a £500 overdraft :-( pretty much house bills and fuel. tax ran out today, so the only thing its getting this week is 6 months tax :-( where from mate? got a link?.....dont think my bodged one is gonna hold forever.

    well done, good choice! haha! that'll be the oil pick-up....mines got a mark on the inside of the sump where it hit, had a look and was no damage so put it all back together - no probs at all!

    tbh yea ive never had a rust problem, and ive had 9 fiestas lol- get bored easily! 4 of which were zetec s' and one mk5 black. and i must say, i never had a problem.....my starter motor fell off once at brands hatch lol but prob has more to do with me :-* i bought 1 zetec s for 750 cos the bottom end had gone.....£250 brand new from ford! but i put the puma in it lol then tracked it many many times. so technically, no problems! i love em! the only thing ive heard of rust problems, and i kno the ka's are awful. welded so many and there the same chassis so assume fiestas are the same...

    my mrs is under 5ft, puma is a big no cos even i get annoyed with its tiny rear quaters.....and shes had a lupo now for a year and a half, apart from a leaky selector rod seal and the clutch pedal actually falling off (its not a nice job, the steering colomn has to come out!) its been ok - tho shes never really liked it. one of her favourite cars is the mk5 fiesta zetec s. but yea if aint looked after rust is an issue.....mk6 fiestas a sh*t end of. the only way on this planet i would recomend an austin or rover mini to anyone is if theyve driven one......think it puts most people off lol thats

    everyone is wrong :-p its cool as flip! if it were me tho id have to fiddle with the ride height, down a touch on the front and sort the back, or is it on bags? very cool even better with an rs4 lump!

    bodge speaks sense. u say its dripping in pic 3, if its dripping from here............. ..........it could be a bit of a bigger job. anywhere else is fine lol. there a bit of oil down the block i see so could just be oil cooler.....

    if it were me..................id deffo buy it lol rocker gasket, u can def do that - loads of info on here prob. sump, u can do that, i did mine in the car park at work on lunch hour!

    hmmmm lookin at them again, id budget for a sump and a new oil pick up just incase...............and did u say oil is leaking out of that gap in pic 3?

    1 - yea agree with craggsy, and maybe new breather on pic 1 too? (sack it off tho cos its expensive, get one of them pipercross filters or summit...think im right?) 2 - yea, thats pretty normal lol they sit low. although that looks pretty dented too. 3 - thats fine imo, its jus a cover. bash it back in place, or its only to 10mm bolts that hold it on, take it of and flatten it out any more pics?
