    got it on the pit at work and had a look today....its been abused. dented to f*ck...ice has done so much more damage than i thought!!!!! :-# no leaks as yet tho

    im seriously thinking of this now, might credit card it (which i dont really wanna do).........my sump is dragging in the hard ice left in the middle of the road atm. dredding hitting a patch on a dual carriageway and dumping all the oil :-#

    yea 1st thing i do on every car ive had, used to be hardcore weight-loss on my cars lol. i werent carefull with my clips and yes, 1 fell in the bonnet and rattled for ages till i managed to get it out!!

    right, im poor, thus i have hottuning ebay special height adjustables on my vr.....as expected the ride is pretty poo, especially at this height. the other day coming back from seeing the courteeners and buzzcocks in manchester (which were awesome) i offered some mates who got the train there a lift home.....me and my mrs in the front seats, 3 in the back seats, and 2 in the boot - it was decked! with shed loads of weight in it! i was expecting the worst ride of my life, but it was amazing! smooth, ironed out all the bumps even tho it was so stiff it never hit the floor??!!! not joking it was

    dont! i had a right arse ache over this! fitted my coils on the street in the dark after work.....noticed the top cups where sitting high, so midnight (6 hours before work) i ripped them off with loads of swearing-werent happy! then noticed the standard shocks were the same! turns out, they do sit a high, on most vw's! get a pic if u can, jus to be sure.....but im saying its normal and will be fine for mot - mine went thru.

    galaxy 2.8 starter motor, does it fit my vr? cant see why not but its jus my luck it wouldnt!!!!

    i'd love one! but struggling to find the money for a new coilpack as mines cracked......plus i need a new starter motor, and now my aux belts squeaking away..... shame ;( oh and ajay, your car is sweeeeet!

    a mini diana lomography camera and its the bomb! hoping to get the fisheye for my birthday! forza 3 (but my xbox is the base model and cant load both discs ) itunes vouchers and £100 off me dad (which has ALL gone on fuel lol) and few other little bits. all in had a great christmas!!!

    sorted, got under back of car, literally flicked the moving part on the calliper what the cable pulls and its fine!

    mines exact same! its stuck miles away cos it wont move, stuck on about an inch of ice! i thought it was the calliper seizing cos the mk2's had a prob with that didnt they? hope it is iced up, worth a try. got heat gun, extension cable, pry bar and a hammer, and im gonna have to knock on some randoms door to use their plug socket lol! wish me luck!
