  7. never done it lol but id say yea, give urself a bit of room. jack it up a bit
  8. gearbox, underneith, lowest part of the box, where the diff is housed is the drain plug. its a 17 or 19mm allen key u'll need -cant remeber which one. filler is half way up on the back of the box, which faces front of car. hope that makes sense lol!
  9. sorry to jump in here, but wot is that cylinder thing with the pipe out the top and open at the other end? under the air filter and to the left of the chassis leg? i was told its to do with aircon, but see ur car doesnt have it so i think he was guessing :S jus curious! cheers, dan

  12. id say standards bolts are m8........i jus bought a hottuning decat, came with new m10 bolts and had to drill the standard downpipe out.......so ur probally m10's with decat and mani?
  13. cat was a right tw*t to get off! nob head here also forgot new gaskets....so its all fitted but the downpipe to decat is blowing pretty bad, other than that its awsome! gonna get it on the emission test on monday and see if it'll pass a test
  14. atm im planning a diy jim potter style turbo....chargers are way to expensive for me currently. but maybe after my wedding i might have more spare cash! would prefer charger i think, cos i would get carried away with a turbo, wind it up and keep breaking stuff!!!
  15. will let u kno soon as my Mikalor zorst clamps arrive! got the decat and poly hangers now so jus waiting on the clamps cos i KNOW the old ones are jus gonna snap straight off. plus these look better than normal u ones will be interesting to see if it passes.....dnt kno wot sorta life the cars had before me, but ive done new coil pack and leads, filters, frequent oil changes (cos i keep splitting the sump :-* ) but in serious need of a set of followers - rattle bad plus im hoping thats why its runnin a bit lumpy too...but its a really strong good engine, pulls hard! hoping the decat dont make i
  16. yea thats my plan too, makes sense imo. id rather wait and by not getting cams/polish+ported/schrick etc, and remapping it everytime, save money get forced induction sooner! jus the old charger vs turbo then....and its a hard one!

  18. lol! yea spose! its not an excuse tho. poor things bit of a dog and thats the way it gets treated. as i say ive always had mk2 plans so the mk3 shell is jus a mess around. meantime, dancing on the roof, blackboard paint, rust and rattle cans till then lol
