  1. had this problem before although not with a vr i changed everything then used a flat blade srewdriver with the handle to my ear and touched the injectors with the blade and one wasnt clicking ....replaced that injector and fired straight up.....may be worth checking the injectors tho
  2. would have to be a silver astra 888 1.9 cdti sport hatch...200 bhp 330 ft/lb torque 18"anthracite alloys....shocks and springs and 312mm discs with 4pot brembo calipers from 888 race engineering same as they use on the vauxhall touring cars ...............only because i had number 85 of 100 and regret the day i got rid of it also returned 45-50 mpg while being cained...lol
  3. mines coming up but i work in a garage that does mots so cant see it being a prob as long as i do what needs doing lol
  4. well managed to snap the n/s wishbone bolt 2day, i tried to tighten it 2day after hearing a knock from it and it snapped in the middle of the bush doh...lol.....so just ordered a new wishbone and poly bushes for both wishbones so gna attempt to gas axe the old one off so i can get to the bolt.........still got new coilovers to fit aswel damm vr ownership is expensive on the plus side......a guy at work wrote off his highline and i work at the garage where its stored waiting for scrap so a nice chat with ma boss and im getting the leather interior next week for a grand total of nothing ....res
  5. i had this problem m8. i had a slight delay from putting ur foot down to the power coming in then when the power came in had a loud knock and when letting off. it was the gearbox mount had about an inch of play lol replacing it 2nite with a vibra one
  6. bought 2 new drive shafts, ball joints, track rod ends, vibra tecihnicks front engine and gearbox mount....induction kit of (hairyarse) andy, replacement steering wheel and 2day ordering a new 2 bar grill and new front deep spliter got the driveshafts on and the track rod ends doin the rest 2nite at work

  8. i work for a recovery firm and we have the whole insurance contract for pembrokeshire so we get all the flat bed work i get more jobs from the rac and aa than anyother company eg green flag nearly all ive met dont have a clue im picking up cars that could of been fixed but either they dont know or they dont want to fix it and i end up taking the car all over the country lol
  9. thats what i thought m8 i should have all the little things that are bugging me soon and now i have a well payed job gna save for a rotrex charger with forged internals ........cant wait

  11. ye it sure is it was either spend and sort the vr out properly after doing the chains and clutch....or was gna change the car but coldnt think of anything i wanted maybe a lower millage vr as mines done 160,000 but then could of ended up having to do all this to the new vr. so thought sod it. plus side should pull smooth as after all this
  12. well loads of parts have been delivered 2day and for the next few days eg, 2 brand new driveshafts, vibra tecknics front mount and gearbox mounts, second hand steering wheel as mine was knackered new powerflex wishbone bushes 2 new ball joints 2 new droplinks 2 new track rod ends and waiting for delivery on a fk automotive induction kit from here ...a milteck cat back system and de-cat and thursday will be getting a strut brace and new suspension and new sticker for the back window as ive finaly payed the £15 lol so a very busy weekend ahead but the poor vr needed this badly
  13. yey this post just made me realise that ive been lurking on here for a while now and learnt lots through this club so thought i owed it to everyone whos helped and for help in the future to join so just payed up woop lol

    where can u get the g60 fd from as a guy who builds rally cars is gna be doing a rebuild on my gearbox in a week or 2 so would defo be worth sticking it in as the box its gna be open

  16. would look much better with the deep chin spoiler.....were u not tempted to do some smoothing while it was all rubbed down...........looks good though, wouldnt miss it in the dark lol
  17. ive always had toyos t1rs for as long as i can remember tried some others but always come back to toyos they grip very well in the dry or the wet although dont last very long at all i end up switching the back to the front after 6-7 months

  22. they look good on the raddo mmmmmm desions might have a play on photoshop later.............its true there not cheap but the rims set a car so well worth it

  24. im 25 o yrs ncb 5 points and pay £450 fully comp with full breakdown, courtesy car, £300 excess etc
