    mine had a mot a few weeks ago and it has a small amount of rust on 1 of the rear arch and the guy said the same as above as long as there were no holes or sharp bits it was fine

    oh yes lol if i keep her happy she dont mind me spending money on ma vr ....comprimise tho shes already on about changing it in a couple of months for a vr aswell tryed to palm mine of on her so i can get a highline but she aint avin it lol she wants the highline cuz of the purple colour lol thats what i get for letting her browse through here .....

    ok the missus just got home so she has been busy 2day she hates the smothed door hamdles so has sorted 2 new doors lol and shes got her lil hands on new rims very nice i must say ..16" x 7.5 rh cupraiders with a polished lip in imaculate condition and found that the coilovers are fk highsports and a hidden powerflow exhaust so ill be putting the doors an alloys on 2morow then camera whore shots woooo......ma vr is getting neglected at the mo nevermind she says i can buy some new rims soon woooo lol

    well finaly got the missus to get rid of her disgrace of a car her 206 1.4..............and agreed for me to get her new one so just got a new edition to our dub family an bought her a very tidy mk3 polo 1.6 with bbs 16" splits 7" fronts and 8" rears lowered on coilovers smothed boot, de handled, badboy bonnet which i normaly dont like but suits the car..... soz no pics at the mo as she is loving it and out in it now laughing at me as mine is currently out of action again grrrrrrrrr never mind at least no more french cars on the drive wooooooooooooo just need to find a lil mk1 now and wel be

    well not me but a m8 reccently changing the clutch was underneath the car disconecting driveshafts and split his head open on the engine lol he wasnt happy lol then jumpstarting it the handle clamp thing exploded in ma hand cutting ma hand lol

    where is the leak from m8. mine went up in steam an was chucking water an steam out of the resivour ..it didnt damage the engine but endded up putting a seconhand engine in due to the cost in fixing ....got quoted nearly £900 as its a big job and the chains and guides needed replacing ...im sure some others who know more might have some other ideas as im only going off what happened to me dj

    headgasket maybe. when i had a head gasket go the same used to happen within ten mins it go up in a cloud of steam lol

    a m8 of mine has that jom kit on his and he says it much better than the standard kit on the vr6 it can be a bit bumpy tho no not as good as the more expensive stuff. but he reckons its a good comprimise for the money ................hope that helps m8

    UPDATE ok so stripped the gearbox of again 2day and found that when i had changed the first crank seal i had forgot to do 1 of the m10 bolts up tight that hold the flywheel on an the oil was dribbling through this hole and leaking onto the clutch so tightend it up an a 2nd new clutch in and all is good it drives like it should again so i can now enjoy driving again ........woop
