  1. Could be the relay, but i don't know which 1 it is under the dash. Put them on and just touch any of them to feel if they click. Probably easiest to eliminate the relay first.
  2. It sounds klike your gear selector, on top of your gearbox mate!
  3. When i did my engine build, i just used VW parts department, they seemed to know there stuff!!
  4. If you've ran the engine with no coolant in, it can damage the seals in the pump causing them to leak.
  5. s0me1 somewhere put 2 in a lupo didn't they? have a look on the tube
  6. Prob take an hour or 2 to fit, support engine, drop subframe, take off old rack, re-fit, JD!
  7. My car ran a bit like this, miss firing, no faults recorded on VAGCOM, and turned out to be 1 of my ht leads not plugged in properly!
  8. I wonder if the two racks you have found handle or work in different ways. I also wonder if a TT rack could go on a mk3? The mk4 rack will not fit on a mk3 subframe, too wide. If you can give the reg of your car when ordering (from somewhere like GSF) they should match it to your car then.
  9. My abs light used to come on after i took my vr over 120mph! Every time, with out fail. Would only go off after i'd switched everything off! But yeah, possibly a sender, might just need a clean?

    aux. water pump

Anyway back to the issue! Water pumps are belt driven-on most engines, aux pumps are electrical, and yes help cool the system after switching off. I had a clio 16v and this had the same thing, only it packed up so i by-passed it. As long as the main water pump is working, imo, your car will be fine!
  11. Think there just normal o-rings, just replace with a bit o grease on the o-ring, so as not to damage the o-ring when fitting back into the hole in the block. Also make sure the hole is clear of rust, else it won't seal properly.
  12. Got mine from GT3 Turbo mate, quite reasonable price. Its a Garrett 60-1 .84 a/r hotside with t4 style divided flange. Can't afford a gt series, so that tub was the next best thing!!!
  13. 14. I went for a .84 a/r on a t4 flange, should give some good hp!
  15. I came home today and found this little (well, not that little!) beauty on my door step! Mmmm, boooooost!!!!

    CAT cams

I've got a set but not had them running yet. They were recommened to me by Matt at QEP, who said that they are a quality cam, not wearing out after a few thousand miles like Kent/Piper cams, and they are very well made.
  17. Nice 1, fits in quite well with the mk3 dash and interior!
  18. The other pipe will be for a small filter, so that the catch tank is vented.
