  3. I use dodo juice and whenever I wash the car finish off with demon shine from halfords
  4. Its warm air inside the vehicle hitting the cold windows driving it quite fast with all the windows and sunroof open can clear it quickly but it comes back.
  5. Correct part number for head studs is 204 4705 so yes I agree must be bottom end studs
  6. I have a Oil cooler for sale £100 posted will get photo up tomorrow if your interested.
  7. You would be better of buying the parts separately then you could get a better system. I have a turbo(T03/T04), manifold and spacer plate and intercooler already mounted on a mk3 front mount for £400. I have some injectors somewhere all bought from members off here. I also have an uprated fuel pump already mounted in mk3 golf in-tank fuel pump holder need to sort prices and then find the rest of my arp headbolts. Can get pictures loaded if interested.
  8. Why so much I thought the speed limit out there was very low anyway. You could try tempcover.com for short periods but im sure they are just an agent/broker.
  9. Base ball bat should do the trick. Or take the expense out on their new car.
  10. Yes mines the one up for sale its fairly clean but has marks on most panels and for what there selling for (or not selling for) I cant justify a respray
  11. I knocked it into neutral going round a roundabout and bounced it off the limiter never knocked it down a gear though.
  12. They do not have an easier life it is a mith. If you want better economy in a manual you change up a gear with autos they will only change up when they want to Unless you stiff it everywhere in which case the gearbox will learn your behaviour and adjust accordingly. Mine is auto and I have had 4 years of fun. Best economy I have seen is 38mpg you can guess the worst is a lot lower. Auto's tend to have lower mileage. I bought my N Reg 96 with 52'000 on the clock and it is now 93'000. Auto's are not very good in icy /Snowy conditions with manuals you can select a higher gear to combat wheelspin.
  13. Where did you take it ? I have taken mine to www.tuttsofdorking.co.uk that were spot on seemed to really know there stuff.
  14. As soon as he said "SICK TYRES" I would have walked away. Did you not check anything before buying it?
  15. You can fit my leather seats out of my VR6 in yours for £175 with door panels and heated seat loom.
  16. Its no captive and there is not enough space to shove the bolt into the axle if your going to cut both ends you might as well just cut the nut end.
  17. I would hacksaw just the nut off that way you have something to pull it out with.
  18. Burgess hill TPS are fine but maybe a little to far for you but I would just go and ask at the desk what you want.
  19. Im in Crawley west sussex don't mind a little drive out but not to ESSEX like I did for a mk1 owners meet. Mines on the road until I sell it or scrap it as tax and insurance are up at the end of the month.
  20. Subframe, front crossmember, engine mounts, gearbox mounts.
