  1. Iwanted N1 DUB but that went a few weeks ago if I remember correctly. I've been looking at N986 DUB.... bday 1986, N is my cars first year and you already know about DUB lol....it happens to be on my tutors 306 1.9TD, he's selling the car and plate together for 200....what d'ya think?.
  2. Mine has no sunroof, so yes, they are out there. Just keep looking.
  3. I was considering an rx-7 or a twin T supra not so long ago.....happy with my decision though.....may get one of the above as a second car in a few years though
  4. Me and the better half all weekend, will also take a share in the throne.
  5. Have you not tried their site? Or the flEabay?...I've found several.....just type in car performance or modifying on google and you'll have lots of shops.
  6. So a genuine lambda for a cat from vw will do the best job for a de cat ?
  7. Hi chaps, my lambda is screwed. Has been for a few months......why my mpg is around 8mpg without flooring it. Everything else has been checked and im 11% certain it's just this one thing. A lambda site im looking at has a choice of none cat or cat for their sensors for the VR6 08/95 - 97..........does non cat mean de cat? My decat has the same size thread and hole that the original cat does.......which lambda do I need to purchase for improved mpg?
  8. Just a quicky, with a strait through decat, does a replacement from vw help with the mpg or does it need a wide band lambda from basch or something?......I think a shoddy lambda is the reason of my pi** poor mpg.
  9. I wouldn't say the plastic one's rubbish......just have to take your time when putting leads on and off lol
  10. Sounds like it's over fueling matey. Does the engine feel slightly lumpy at points of acceleration? Have you checked all of the lambda sensor wiring, including from the plug back? Also slightly possible you have a blocked cat or it's on its way out.
  11. dubslife, I have to ask a)How old are you? b)How long have you been driving? c)What insurance company are you with? 400 a month sounds extremely excessive and I do mean extremely. I have 5 years ncb and 5 years of driving and I pay £59 a month. Though I'm kind of in the same situation as you with regards to income, rent and being a student in part time work. I'm only 22 though. £4800 a year sounds too steep. It's expensive for parts too. Unless you change your insurance company for a cheaper one, I'd buy the car, sorn it, and wait for funds.
  12. Well I'm sure I'll meet most of the regulars before volksfest anyway, so I'll have an idea of what to expect I'm wierd too, it's my better half that's normal .
  13. Petrol and cost is fine. I would be bringing the better half though. She's paranoid that she'd get in the way. Yes, def up for convoy n camp.
  14. Well craggsy, If I have someone to go down with, I'll do this too, so you can have another drinking buddy. How much is camping and is it the "everyone parks together"?
  15. That looks more like me lol. BTW, whens night racing?
  16. Will your fella be okay with that craggsy? :-# lol Aww crap, I'm off to the cayman islands from 10th to 24th feb.
  17. No thanks craggsy lol. PhatVR6, no I've never actually ventured into Brum or its surrounding areas. I tend to go into coventry, nuneaton and tamworth. I'd never know what I'd be like next to a proper VR6. I've given thumbs up to a couple fakers with VR6 badges around my area to be given the finger....Usually they rev theirs at the lights, then I do, to see them get pi**ed off....heaven knows why
  18. Might be an idea to upgrade your engine mounts with polys too as you're getting the 6 branch.
  19. Not so fast cabrioman, my breads strictly butterside up.. :-d I was just curious where you came from in brum. I'm from pretty much next to fillongly.
  20. Not a problem buddy, I'll give you a hug when we meet :-p lol. Mr PHAT VR6, would you be refering to coldfield? lol
