  1. well after i install the charge cooler and meth injection i should be hitting about 320bhp , the 288;s battled the other night to stop me when i needed it , did a good job but felt it was gonna give. i am running 17 inch wheels.
  2. whats the best upgrade for the master cylinder? so the mk4 r32 calipers the better upgrade? how easy to fit?my calipers are pretty close to wheel as it is now
  3. what about rears? are they the same as vr6 ones? i wanna uprate all round
  4. hi , need to uprate the brakes on the vento as decieded they are not stopping the vento quick enough.i see you can do a 312mm upgrade but was thinking of something more powerful how easy is it to fit r32 brakes to a vento vr6? thanks
  5. i do mine every 6months or 3000 miles..which ever ones comes first
  6. i was told that it had different cams to de-power it by a friend who owned one, he said he changed to the golf cams to bring power up and then induction kit + remap .got about 190bhp i think...not bad for a people carrier.
  7. neuspeed or gruven do pulley sets , lighter but you will need to spend about 200-500 quid for a full set i was looking at putting some on my charged vento but only ended up getting the power steering one to make it a bit lighter
  8. Will take Maf off and have a look ,its down near the road (vf9 charger) its due for oil change , will check plugs same time
  9. i have just bought a charge cooler for the vr and want to install it after the charger but is it better straight after the charger or nearer the throttle body? i am thinking about straight after the charger so it still gives me some space for the water injection after but enough space before the TB wher is the best place to put the pump and wire it into? want it running when ignition on...... any ideas will be good....thanks
  10. yeah heard of them , think they use similar stuff to raceland /gmax ect.... i would put some extra money in and get some reaceland coilovers for a bit more...
  11. vento vr6 supercharged obd2 , lately it seems to backfire when i put foot down and only when changing gear....i am thinking spark plugs maybe as i think its been a while since they were changed..... thanks guys
  12. i would keep it the same ,dont see the point in changing it at 11psi
  13. i do an oil change every 6 months with the charged vr
  14. yeah dude , the one with the carbon bonnet is my baby........she gets reg service and more attention than most cars......will sort out paint in next couple of weeks , wanted to get car running good with all mods done before painting!
  15. i got a spare one just in case but in terms of power and how much you can put through them is yet to be determined....that is why i went for charger as the boost does not hit as bad as turbo...i think the turbo would of blown it up by now

  17. i am running 300bhp through my supercharged vento and auto box and no issues , i have uprated and put a sepeate gearbox cooler in to keep temps down but its quick , outran a 300bhp mk4 1gti auto boxes are not as bad as everyone says , i have done 105k on orginal box! and overdrive is awesome!
  18. i would put tank in boot and nothing less than 5ltrs....run pipes under car
  19. yeah might throw up some codes......worth a look before you start throwing money in it and it might make it worse!!! FPR wont do much on a standard car , you might just end up flooding it with excess.... agree with other guys , check it out before you spend your dolla
  20. vf front and all rest standards...thats all you need
