  1. mine look the correct gap but compared to old ones the gap looks way to big....they are different spark plugs , worked staright away when i put old ones back in...
  2. cams good but expensive.....if your planning on doing mods rather get them all together at fit at once......i would rather spend the money on handling first , once you go down charger and turbo the list grows and grows..lol
  3. well changed plugs back after a mission and car runs fine, but there is a big difference between the spark plugs new vs old , the old ones have a really small gap while the new ones are gapped 0.24 , the the prongs on the old ones are longer and have 3 while the new ones are shorted and only have 2....
  4. thanks dude , looks like i will pulling them out tomorrow to check it out.....
  5. HI , put in some BKR5EKUP spark plugs in and i dont think they are gapped correctly as car spluttering now over 3k revs , been told the normal setting is 0.7 as standard but supercharged should be running 0.22 gap , is that correct? tried search and did not get a good enough answer , car off road at moment...need to get it running asap thanks obd2 v9
  6. yeah i double checked that , its wierd as up to about 3k revs its ok , only when i call for more power above 3k it battles , idle is ok might take leads off and try again
  7. was told they should be set up correctly straight out the box , did not gap them.....will double check the leads + coilpack
  8. Hi guys , took the inlet off to get powdercoated and also changed the spark plugs , put everthing back together but now i cant get it to run correctly , i think i put all the leads back correctly as marked on the leads and coil pack , but when i put my foot down it sounds muffled and like a gobbling sound... never did it before so got to be something i done in the process i presume the coilpack number line up with the lead numbers? thanks vortech v9 obd2 vento
  9. pro race rock , i got a set on mine and wouldnt change them , can feel the difference! picked up fro 200 quid on ebay
  10. standard one will do dude , unless you wanna change compression ect
  11. hi , i got a gruven pulley to put on the powersteering , how easy is it to release the belt and change over? obd2 vento thanks
  12. HI , i have a slight leak on the joint where the stainless manfold joins the decat pipe and i think its the gasket that goes between the 2 of them , do you know where i can get a new one? or something better i could use? anyone had this issue? thanks
  13. crack pipe runs under inlet , get a gruven metal one , easy to do ...if you have little hands
  14. need 1 for obd2 vr6 vento ,taking off the inlet + lower manifold to get powdercoated , want to put new gaskets on same time where is the best place to get them from? thanks
  15. front one should be good enough , if you go solid all around you will get some serious vibrationssssss.....
  16. if you said red i would of swapper my black ones..... or even hot pink will look fab!
  17. hi , yeah its about 1cm short on each end , i had to cut off a few tabs on the corner and the end and put a self tapping screw in just to keep it nice and tight but its easy to fit and probally only took me about 30min and that includes taking the bumper off... dont have any pics at moment but will try get some when i get a chance... Probally one of the better fitting spoilers i have found, and making it flexible is a bit easier to get on i would get one..for £20 you cant complain
  18. would need to get one made and then tested dude , need some bhp graphs to see if its worth the dosh! for a little more you can get a schimmel short runner
  19. arrived anf itted.....quality seems better than normal ebay ones....fitted easy on the vento with a few small pieces cut off.... they are a bit more flexable so hopefully take some abuse
  20. will try the ali ones first as they already cut to size and bent.....if not then the stainless needs to be cut and bent.... got a pace chargecooler going on , its not as big as anormal one but the place i am trying to fit it is very tight!
  21. got 2mm ali ones , got some stainless ones but they a bit to thick , been told they will hold the heat to much , the ali supposed to heat up/cool down quicker
