    i need to make some charge cooler pipes up , but i need to cut some angles out the ali pipwork and i will loose the lip on the end of the pipe , is it ok to put silicon hoses on without the lip? will have some proper heavy duty clamps on thanks

    hi , well depending what you want to use the system for.......and what are you running? if your running a standard vr6 with a few mods then no point running a charge cooler , and water injection would help with temps but dont think you would get much gain on a standard set up if you running a supercharger/Turbo then both are pretty handy i am in the process of installing both , but installing a chargecooler is not a easy job and can cost a bit.... charge cooler set up - £400 + water injection - £200+ to get the best gain out of water injection you would need to mix it with Methnol/ect which

    looking for the last bits for the charge cooler , but what is the best hose? silicon hose is way to expensive for what i need , what do other people use? heater/coolant hose or braided (hose pipe similar) hose? thanks

    yeah i thought about running it tank > charge cooler > rad > return , thought it would be more efficient cooling the heated water before returning to tank and also keeping the flow pressure higher yeah saw tank looks sweet....

    well got the bosch pump to power it along....just trying to save on weight.....is it easy to disconnect? well if i am not using it anyway then its just freewheeling and i can always hook it back up when not needed? cheers dude , how big a water tank you running?

    would i be able to use the audi disks to upgrade to 256 on the rear ?i want to do the fronts and thought about upgrading the rear same time would the same procedure apply to what is done on the fronts? vr6 vento obd2 thanks

    HI , i am looking at finishing my install with the charge cooler and wondering to save space and weight could i do the following 1.air con never used , could i leave the pump in place and disconnect pipes to radiator? 2.use aircon radiator hooked up to my charge cooler will it be ok to leave the pump connected to engine so it can always be connected back up , remove the fuse so it cant be turned on/ saves me putting another radiator on as i already have a gearbox cooler and oil cooler in the front! thanks Vr6 obd2 Vento charged

    will i need a remap if i go stage 3? vince did me a custom map on stage 2 for the vento but i got the stage 3 bits and tempted to go stage 3 when i put the charge cooler in thanks obd2 vento

    i find a blow off valve makes mine run lumpy so put recirc one back on and its fine! yeah like roose said behind throttle body should be good.....

    you will find a difference in torque if you take it out...

    the manifold should connect to the cat and then cat to exhaust , are you thinking of decat pipe? this just takes the place of your decat.

    yeah i got one , not fitted it yet...how did you clear the sump? did you have to loosen engine mount to raise engine up and undo bolts?

    also check the spark plugs , worth changing if running a charger...
