  1. 256 is obd2 Euro ecu. I have it, and have been running 440 and 630 setup. Matt@UM will sort you out.
  2. I had Kent 264 in my Corrado 11 years ago. Complete Supersprint w/header. Not much noticeable power gain. Maybe a software would have helped. DRC 268 i hear is a good setup n/a or f/i.
  3. Got Pauter rods in it now. The Techtonics 288 cams help alot. OEM valves as well. Lug seems nice. Very nice.
  4. A friend of mine is running a new PTE 6766 in his Rallye Golf. He needed a restrictor.
  5. LSD diff and a strong clutch.. Ive stripped one oem 02A fitted with Peloquin diff. One SQS 02A w/Peloquin. Got a 02M in the car and broke all the rivets on the clutch disc. 2011 i fitted a twindisc Clutchmaster fx850. Its been holding up good ever since.
  6. If your happy, thats the main important thing.
  7. Highest ive know is 577whp. GT35R T3 1.06, Water/Meth and some 263 cams. 255Walbro. 30 PSI. 507whp without w/m. Sooooo 70whp extra with w/m. All with 3" DP and exhaust.
  8. A shortrunner on a n/a engine ? Come on, it doesnt even have diffrent runner lengds. You WILL loose power on the SP short runner. What makes it so good ? Like Pete here says, The VSR you need a TB spacer plate to fit if your obd2. Schrick is much more common. 11 years ago i had a VGI w/Kent 264s.. Did make some diffrent but not at all compared to tge price. N/A is expensive and not efficient on 12v. Get the VSR if you must.
  9. 24psi should see 450whp ++ 30psi ive seen several cars over 500whp on regular gas.
  10. I run the 256 ecu that i got from Matt in 2009 when he worked for C2. His UM software i asume is even better. Your 6262 Tagential T4 0.81 will be killer ! Remember clutch and LSD diff. Clutchnet red pressure plate with a 6 or 4 puck sprung disc is cheap and holds good power on the 02a/02j boxes.
  11. Ive ordered most off my parts from Usa. Quick shipping to Norway, and the prices are often much better than Europe. Got my ARP headbolts from Summit back in 2007, and i still run them. USP motorsport have very quick shipping. Last time it took 4 days. Fluidampr.
  12. Bullseye S362, Garrett T04S or Precision 6262/6266 all with T4 housing ar.80++ Cheap and good journal bearing turbos Realstreetperformance has ok prices.
  13. If your not on high boost, your gearbox will be fine. What breaks is the differential. It has a big bolt going thru it. That bolt gets so warm. it starts to slide out of its bellhouse. And it hits the inside wall of the gearbox, crushing everything to pieces. Buy a LSD differenrial. and the issues is gone AND you will get better grip. MUCH better grip. Peloquin Wavetrack Quaife

    4 bar

Just the fpr. OBD1 with coilpack runs a 3bar. If your unsure what you have, its printed on the side of the fpr. Fuelpump will work fine with either 3 or 4 bar fpr.
  15. Your British Helix would have a 6puck sprung disc and plate I will asume. Clutchnet red pp and 6puck spring is a cheap setup that seems to hold the VRT torque fine under 20 psi. The UM software would be spot on. The GT35R T3 1.06 is a turbo that i personally have and I love it. Matt @ UM knows what he is doing. He shares a lot off good info and provides good service. Fishwick's outburst is unnecessary and do not lead to anything. And I will say that a T3 0.82 GT35R is in the tight end off the scale. It might work when playing around @ 15psi..
  16. If your aiming for under 500whp, use stock rods. Here in Norway they dyno over 1100whp on China made h-rods on Audi 5cyl 2,2T engines. Pauter rods are top of the line rods that alot of high whp VR6s run. Same with Crower and do not forget Carrillo! And like Viw28 says: All we can do is base on personal choice and preference. But if you want expensive high-end rods, check out Carrillo.
  17. 044 overkill on a 20psi VRT? I do not agree with that at all. But fuelpumps are another question. I think you have got some good turbo advice's
  18. Garrett GT3076R T3 1.06 is also a great 400whp turbo. Bullseye S362 is also cool for the price. Garrett T04S T4 0.81 or something in that area. The UM setup will run perfect. AND i almost forgot a inline fuel pump. Bosch 044 and so on... Bosch F3cs sparkplugs right from the box works nice on motronic OBD2.
  19. Unitedmotorsport software setup w/Bosch 440cc and a journal bearing Precision 6262 T4 0.68 housing. UM 8,5:1 spacer or a 9:1 spacer. Stiffer engine mounts, LSD diff and a decent clutch.
  20. Yes ive used bkr7e gapped to 0.24 But why run plugs that you need to gap from 0.30 down to 0.24 to work properly ? Im only talking oem coilpack.
  21. If you are gonna run NGK, use 7 or 8 heat range. Best VRT plug ive used last 7 years is Bosch F3CS. I buy them from Ebay.co.uk Needs no gapping, just plug and play. Cant be more simple than that.
  22. Buy two 630 Deka's and be happy. They are good injectors. Had mine since 2009 and been running up to 30psi. Runs very good.
  23. Standard head will work just fine with the 35R.
