  1. Was it any good? Just the looks. Thats it.
  2. I had this on my OBD2 back in 2004.
  3. Ive never seen the splines on a disc like that before. Exept a few 5Cyl Audi monster cars, but they are another league. DMmotorsport clutch is going in. 3 disc w/Tilton parts. End off clutch story I hope.
  4. 2mm flat steel, bent on the 02M conversion bracket Crack...
  5. VR6 Turbo without 02M box : Find one thing wrong on this pic   Magnaflow 3" Cat. No wonder I had boosting issues 3" VR6 Turbo "cat" VS orginal VR6 OBD2 cat. Some diffrence is to be noticed  Some pics when the R32 box went off.... Two component seal for the transfercase oil channels: Div:
  6. 8.5:1 headspacer are not 2mm. Its 3mm. 3mm spacer is a good thing if you are going over 1.2 bar isch... UnitedMotorsport 42# software with 95mm maf housing is a perfect setup, that will bring around 400whp @ 1.4bar/20psi with that HX turbo Your clutch and diffrential willl love this setup Good luck anyway, and remember to get a big enought exhaust housing on that HX35 !
  7. Spacer is good to go. The gaskets under and over needs to be replaced.
  8. AEM Uego wideband sensor in my car. Its a NEED to have on a supercharged/Turbo car. Not nice to have, but need to have. If you dont have it, you can thank yourself for everything. Including a melted engine and a impressed girlfriend and wallet
  9. 5eku and eku p makes little diffrence on a n/a VR6 engine. P=platinum and should last longer and be more expensive. BKR5EKU is the best stock plug to use. Done.
  10. My buddy did the same on his MK4 R32 Turbo with Sachs Race Engineering clutch. And to be sure it destroied it all, it took his hole clutch housing as well. This is a picture of another Sachs Race pressureplate, that another buddy off mine just blew with a Twin 12V GT3071..
  11. Blew my clutch one week ago... 5th gear 25 psi, and booom Felt like the car went out of gear. So I pulled it off the highway, and stopped. Put it into 1.gear and when I slowly took the clutch pedal backwards it started to make noise's. Stoped the engine, put the car i 1.gear and went off the brakes. Car started to roll backwards like it was in neutral... So something has happend, and I hope its just the disc. Shifts fine in all gears and ratle sounds go away when the clutch is in.
  12. Blew my clutch at 25 psi 5th gear. 4 puck red Clutchnet.. Pulled like nothing ive ever driven, then bang ! Maybe only the disk.
  13. What clutch is depending on how much power you expect. Right now, im not using any clutch... Sachs and I guess Helix "Since its local" should do the job maybe ?
  14. Correct!. Beefier gears than the mk4 R32 box that I have. You should get a 24V termostat housing. Or else you can have issues with space. You will love your 02M. The gear change is shorter, tigher and smooter than 02A/02J. And yes, the VR5 has 02J.
  15. Turbo wise get a T3 turbo with 0.82 exhaust house. Send Unitedmotorsport a PM and you will get perfect setup with all the parts you need. 10 psi is good to go, without touching the engine. You diffrensial will hate turbo setup! Hahaha.. Good luck
  16. Been awhile since last update. Car is running very good. Been using it as a daily driver since july. No issues, exept a oxygen sensor And yes, the Magnaflow cat was completly damaged and made the car only boost 8 psi. Took the Magnaflow off, threw it in the garbage and welded on a 3" pipe instead. First trip with no cat, I felt the car was running as it should. But I had no clue on what psi it was on. So to see where it was at I did a 4th gear pull. It was no traction @ 32PSI. hehehe... So I dropped it down to 23psi and been running that ever since. It runs very good. No issues.
  17. Take the head off and do it right. Instead off hoping it will be fine. Change guides, tensioner and chains.
  18. Like above. Did 2 years with 20 psi all day long on stock engine with 8.5:1 C2 headspacer. No engine issues, what so ever. C2 software.
  19. Woessner, JE and Wiseco's are all good pistons used in a VR6 Turbo engine.
  20. There is a question about gearbox and axels here... I can see 1 person that has written back something about it... hehe.. Nice
  21. Not the first time Ive seen this hose blowing up on VRT's... A good tip, is to have a good look at it, and keep it away from the exhaust...
