    well hope fully ill be find out soon when i get my rolling roaded with this south meet, bet from wot ive found it give u more response on throttle and get the gasses out quicker due to less restrictions ... is ur vento standard engine wise??

    wow bugger me not good sounds like ur gettina big short to earth mate like the main power cable to earth could be barrel or wirers chaffing i suggest removin the cover and havin a look b4 u get more than just smoke ....

    pron have to take the leather cover off cant u just attatch a new bit of cable to the latch then conect the two cable together like i had done on mine ???

    if u got all the bt from a scrap mk 3 then i cant se y it wont work mate but u mite have to run a basic setting on it when its all fitted thou not to sure ....

    does sound like the stalk cold have gone try gettin one from a scrap yard or mite be one on e bay if ur lucky ....

    could just be ur cable stickin disconnect it from the gear box end then try movin the gear stick if its free and easy then should be ok and mite be gearbox fault or just a sticky selector

    not being funny mate but it could be any thing have a chat with a bloke in ur area with a vag computer adn see if there are any faults adn go from there

    thats not a bad thing not goin over 90 if it did then ud have a problem as for the bubblin u sure it not the electric pump ??

    day went ok didnt get a chace to do the rear polly bushes so have to do them next weekend. lights look wel good wil get some pic when the car is a bit cleaner lol engine mounts are wicked can now feel the vr not just hear the roar .....

    si ur gear change not cable then ??? could be a swollen cable jammin up in the out seath ???

    ran the engine with the heaters on red hot adn just let it idle of give it some low revs to get the water flowing as far as i know there aint a bleed screw or anyhting, also take it on a drive but keep a botle of coolant in the car cos the level will drop after drivin .... good luck matey

    yeha take the thermosts housing off and pull, when u repanec it make sur eu change the o rings on each end watch out mite be a bit tight takin off thou .... good luck

    i was thinkin about gettin one then miek at adb told me its not worht it u wont feel any difference in performance at all so i didnt get one but if u do lets us know how it goes yeah

    1. service mine ever 8000 miles do a lot of miles i do 2. normal oil and filter and a good check over 3. do the servicing my self being a vw teck 4. synta silver 5. price of a oil filtre about £6 hope this helps u out

    got a busy day tomo at work got me new vibra techs engine mounts to fit, new drive shafts, rear polly bushes and lower the front a bit more too
