  1. DO NOT get me started on this one either..... I do a lot of business miles and why oh why oh why.... A lot of mine are listed above however I do have an extra one or two for you... The TW*T who only sits in the middle lane... Now if the road is free in front they will go 100mph to catch the car in front. They will then slow right down to the speed of the car and sit on its ar*e until it moves and then back up to the highest speed they can achieve. Thus you end up pulling in behind them as they always accelerate, then as you are parallel to them and then... well you get the gist... People wh
  2. Dude that milage on a motorway drive is PANTS.... That would point to a serious fuel issue. Is the Lambda/MAF working properly? Do you have good and clean Plugs which are gapped correctly? Are you injectors and fuel system working correctly??? (Not blocked) Is your Clutch Slipping?? Can you drive ??? LOL (Only joking ) I think it may be worth checking those things as a starter for 10. Also just because you put zorst and things on doesn't mean extra get up and go. Dependent upon the system you fit it could take low end and give you high end for example. If you are after real performance t
  3. If you can VAG for the sensors... Lambda/Idle etc etc are all possible causes so best to plug in and see what you have... The gearbox.. Yes it is a lie on your back and swear at it whilst it runs down your arms... Shame its not olive oil and good for your skin really.... If you are concerned about the box you can get the old slick 50 and options for the box and it is worth it especially if the box is not a fully known zone... The oil in the box needs changing every so often anyway so why not do it all then at least you have removes a few items from your lists with out a big £££ outlay...
  4. I am not sure on the reason for the loop other than two areas of lubrication.... although, my basic understanding is that as the bearings require different oil levels at different boost settings and on startup (can take up to 30 sec to get oil into the system) that this link kinda acts like a storage device so there is some oil available for the situations like hard cornering and sudden boost upgrades when driving etc. You must remember that in essence the oil supply is a gravity fed system which is why it is super important to get a good flow route especially on the return flow... Like I sa
  5. WOW Not much else to say really.... WOW
  6. yes as the mixtures all change... (more air than you had before). NS Racing also and I think Regal might.... have the belts
  7. if your exhaust has a flex joint then all is ok. if not then it will help Once you are under/in that area you will see you do actually need to raise the lump further than you might have expected. As always as this area is close to the road it attracts all the salt and crap so it always a pig to release. Releasing oil and a twatting device with a selection of extensions are always helpful. it is an easy job to actually do as the guys said a few bolts and a jack... so it should be no issues. As the guys suggest. Always worth replacing the belts as your there enjoy

  19. pretty much what he said.... there are a few variations on the actual mileage, person to person. Some manufaturers like Honda ask for a service visit after 3k to "do a check"..... There used to be a running in oil, I am not sure if it is still available though. I would always use quality oils no matter what stage I am at personaly I would also do another filter change etc by the time i hit 3000miles at the latest. The first flush is always the worst. The main advice is make sure you warm up and warm down. Constant temperatures are good. But not for 10 hours straight. So also let it g
