I have a mark 3 vr6, the dials on the dash that give the mpg, etc have stopped working. The mpg is stuck on 23.7 and used to work. Any way to fix this.? Thanks.

The Jatex came to £257 including delivery so If I get it fitted for under £300 I'll be happy. Can't wait, my exhaust is hanging off so a stainless steel one with improve the car dramatically (hopefully). I just had it serviced and theres a few things needing done, including the font discs but that can wait, theres a cut in one of the front tyres which is a real pain in the arse!

Ok I've been looking on Venom, and in hearing that Jetex are good, Ive seen one at £242, there are 4 on there for a mk3 golf. Any idea how much it would cost for me to get it fitted?

I've got a 97 Golf VR6, just came back from a service and theres heavy corrosion on the exhaust, highly recommended I have it replaced. I'm going to buy a full stainless steel one, what's the best way to go about this? Order online or just get quotes from local exhaust centers? What would be a good price all in? Thanks in advance.

Sat down with a screw driver in my back pocket last night, I know, I'm a tube. Anyway its done and its a small hole with a scratch before it. Whats the best way to repair it? taking to a pro?

Occasionally my engine revs up when I start it up, even when I put my foot on the clutch. This only happens sometimes. Is it anything to worry about?

Pulled up in my drive last night and lots of white steam/smoke was coming from the engine. I turned off the engine and opened the bonnet to find the water boiling and steaming like mad and the radiator on quite load. Eventually it calmed down. I had the engine replaced about 2 months ago and its been running fine until this. Its a 96P plate VR6, and the new engine has supposedly done 80k miles. I cant take it to the garage until sat. Any advice would be appreciated!

Its a five door, auto electrition asked me to have a look and see if I can find one or else he will order a brand new one, so just wanted to double check I was buying the right type of motor for it, theres a few on ebay.

There are a few on ebay but Im not sure what the part code is, you have lhs, o/s etc. and if I need the mechanism as well??

The windows have stopped working on one side of my vr6 mk3, got the auto electrition out and he said I need to get a new motor from a scrappy, tried a few but couldnt get one, any idea if I could get one online and what is the details for this part? cheers
