  2. DTM.... You have to be careful with these imo. You can get some great chavtastic ones... But I have seen some more discreet ones.. If you're looking at that kinda price may be worth looking made to order then try the usual suspects..
  3. this brings us back to the international standings or option on the homepage for local meets/deals etc... Maybe they could be VR6OC with a subscript of USA/Mexico/South africa....etc etc etc
  4. chaps(esses)... Some good points in this and here is my 2p worth.. This comes down to getting a well engineered product.. I have had made to order systems before and they all work and give you the dBA you need and they are engineered for no drone/bypass/screacher pipes etc etc.. but you pays for whats you gets... and they can cost as well as needeing a service every year.. On a budget level the best I have found that gives me a nice subtle sound and low dBA until the peddles are pressed are the Longlife systems.. As long as you spend some time chatting to the techy people at HQ first (confir

  10. Yup there are looooohhhhhhooooooaddddssss. The biggest are two fold... If you youtube them it's probably best. Goodwood... (both revival and festival of speed) Then LeMans Classic... these involve the cars being raced as well as shown... Otherwise... shows only.. http://www.classicshowsuk.co.uk/ and the best of the bast make the "Salon Prive" show... and WOW are there some very super rare cars here.. http://www.salonprivelondon.com/
  11. Sweet and good luck... (h) dont forget your (um) old chap... Give Sparkz or NS racing a go for charger kits and info. The Eaton kit is non standard so a lot of parts need to be made up/gathered. Stealth and the Phirm are always good to talk to.. They are all listed in the company section on here and with luck they will become hyperlinks straight to it anyway... They are garages so can point you in the correct direction for the parts before you arrive. All very good companies in the south(-ish). There are others North and I am sure the Northern chaps will be on soon to offer them up.. I
  12. Did everyone miss the fact that the cameraman flinched??? If you rewatch the vid... after he hits the fence and the car starts to come back round in its original direction you can see the tyres continue to run.... Follow the right hand tyre on the screen and then you see why he ducked with the TV camera... Lucky all round that was...
  13. http://pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=21822 read and watch the lap... You gotta giggle as he passes the GT3etc like they are parked in the cafe...
  14. sick of these phots now... get the vids up... LOL
  15. I wouldn't weld them in as there is a law that follows...... you know you'll need to take them out the day after... LOL I have never heard of that specific.... I have come across other nuts/bolts backing off and basically nearly always due to vibration/movement over time. The basic solutions for all these type things are... The lock-nut type products but check their temperature levels as you are close to heat sources... not just nylock but the blue/red fluid stuff you put on the threads before you insert etc.. The equivalent of castle nuts... do a gopogle there are companies who will stock so

  17. apart from the obvious .. has it had a good service and plugs recently (-ish) and no fault codes generated... Lambda... what size engine??? if small that may be your answer... you have to wring its' neck to do 50... LOL remember the top gear M3 vs resonably priced car test...
