    VR6 MPG

well.... join up as a premium member that'll get you all the discounts on your insurance and parts etc... read the modification threads and deal with the standard all at sea in a storm standard swaying suspension...then you will never go back. The sound is adictive... Here's a premature welcome
  4. LOL .... you make me laugh... If the Split wasnt enough and you're selling the rallye (if my memory is still working right)... so as you're bored and only still only doing bits on the "other Projects" you find time to pop down the lock up and do this to the VR6.... VR6 MPG

if you do a quick search then you'll find quite a few threads on here about it... anywhere between 17 and 34mpg is the answer subject6 to driving style and routes etc Oh and buy it you wont regret it... LOL
  6. check your route as the M1 is closed this morning....
  7. I forget.... have you had a chip/remap yet???
  8. I am sure C2 will be along shortly... You can always get a chip mate but go to one of the recommended places and get it rolling roaded... Stealth and the Phirm are the big names but there are plenty of others on here who will let you have some names who offer the service... I personally went to Vince at Stealth. My reasons were... part of my running in route and milage - might as well add the miles on the way LOL. I knew it would be done right (and it was only £350 at the time) and if there were any issues they'd be fixed there and then.. It isn't that far north of you and it gives you th
  9. Remember we have some guides on here with pictures to check against.... This was the first one on the search I did... http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?135358
  10. Just in case you still need a response Well. try Sparkz, NSracing and Regal as your best bet for those parts mate... Remap is best way forwards rather than a chip... Chat to Vince at Stealth
  11. I had an issue after I had first fitted mine... Ran great and then ruff as a badgers ar$e suddenly. Similar sounding issues to you... was worse under load not revs... So the solution I hear you ask.... The pipe that connects derectly on to the charger (MAF/Filter side) was not 100% level. This allowed for a small air leak. It took me 3 hours of knuckle losing jiggery pokery but - Eventually with a little triming here and a little trimming there Perfect!!!! It then ran as good as gold. May not be your issue but hey something else to check Good luck
  12. I reckon not a lot... Emissions may be your only issue...
  13. I feel it may be a handfull to drive.... http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3111431.htm
  14. I have this drum of methanol (mentioned above)... Anyone want it??? Let me know before I heasd off otherwise I'll leave it in the shed as I dont want to put it in the car and take it back again LOL Cheers
  15. mate dont worry about the time as long as you can make it ...... I will only be there from 11ish until 4ish on saturday....... and yes people will have some parts... pop a post up on the thread where people are saying what they're taking and we'll see what we can get you
  16. dont forget the standard loom has no fiting for this so you will need to set that up as welll
  17. on the fuel as a standard car.... well strictly no... but most of us do as it does run better.. yup know MK well... handling is fine you just need to make the rear steer for you then the front stays LOL (not that I am condoning unresponible driving in any way-save it for the track )
  18. LOL its all about the right foot.... I actually got better mpg once charged... also what your doing.... I used to get to Newcastle from London on a little under 3/4 of a tank at motorway speeds easilly... the Correct filter & zorst Modifications help here. Also remember dont brake... whilst you dont have to be a hyper miler good driving practice is worth its' weight... Get up to speed asap stay at that speed - as constant as you can for as long as you can... with minimal deviation. Lift off rather than brake.. you know that's fun in MK mate... you will soon enjoy savings once you get ove
  19. No Problems I will dig this out... Is it just me then????
