  1. What sounds are you going to miss.... There are lots of others but this is sound of the past... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGMqG9IG2_s&feature=related anniversary Countach no matter what the caption says...
  2. I think a lot of sensible commentry here and it is good to see that us working folks have a much better grip on the "state of the nation" than it seems a lot of the powers that be... we all work blummin hard for our stuff and appreciate everything/one around us and yes we disagree... but!!!!! So with that in mind what is the solution? I am a fan of extremes like national service and having had a low car.... "road gangs" why the hell not. If it aint done right then solitary.... Rather than the three squares and and the gym training camps we curretnly send people to so they come out fighting
  3. I am really not going to say what I think... But I agree with all that is said and ask how many of you assumed the position with just a look from our/your parents???? if they want act like animals then treat 'em like animals... and now I will stop before I say something I later regret...
  4. Busy doesnt cover it mate.... Sorry but I prefer the white wheels and yes it does look great with the new paint no matter which wheels are on it... LOL ... Sump Guard??? Well done and talk about keeping the faith....

  7. Sums it up quite nicely... Newer more grown up vs older old school charm. I preferred my VR6 with the charger when driving but... Love the R32 for the cruise/aircon/stere/4wd/brakes (LOL) etc.. Remember the R32 will cost more on tax and things other than that drive one and see what you think....
  8. I will have All the items taken off the car when the charger was fitted. I think I have original headlights and tail lights I have an almost full Drum of Methanol... I think I also have the original radio and 6 disk changer somewhere as well.
  9. Errrr WOW.... cant think of anything else to say there.... WOW.... who does your art??? you???
  10. defo need a remap for a change in rated injectors. You need to change back asap. then redo just before you remap. This will stop excess fuel being dumped in to your CAT and killing that quicker than normal. When you swap back give the plugs a good clean so it runs okay again.
  11. Please... My auto jumble rule is easy... All the parts taken off when the charger was fitted to go for the cost of a beer and the Methanol drum can go on the BBQ
  12. Ahhh go on.... pop in on Saturday for an hour or two like me...
  13. interesting to see what the teams say as there is a written requirement for it to be availble on free TV... I figure someone will find a way to broadcast it on the web or something.... even if not UK.... you can watch and listen on sport radio.... or at least that is going to be my aim.... Really not happy about it.....
  14. Well, If i understand this all correctly... Next year I will not be following the F1 as I can't and wont pay Murdoch for it..... Not a happy bunny... I know it is a knee jerk reaction but FFS............. :@
  15. Maaan I'm on there.. Well my old car anyway....
  16. I would love to but it clashes with a work thing every month... ... I will make it one day....
  17. You will get an effect. All about when the bang happens. Most timing adjustment is done by altering the spark point. Retard for fi so as not to overheating valves and head and induce premature ignition. Losses in performance gained back by fi. So in kind one tooth is a crude alteration in kind. But don't go far as it will make parts meet in chamber. Differs manufacturer to manufacturer tolerances.
  18. Right this is a huge topic. So worth a search on line. Plus answering on a hand held so only brief response atm. I would suggest you stay as you are unless going for big numbers. Solids allow much better power under the curve as they are direct link thus higher revs. Serious profiles on cams etc etc . However they need setting up and kept set up. There is no small failure with them. Think of it as hydraulic has a squash limit and thus more forgiving. But works well for normal modifications. Hope that is okay for the moment. If seriously considering them. Look at other mods around the system
