  1. If you strip the car down yourself it will save a lot of expense.

  3. You can run 9 on the front but as craggsy says ..use coilovers to reduce damper travel..
  4. most coilovers have a nut on the spring cap which your top bearing will rotate on..is there a nut fitted there ???
  5. Hi there I can help you with dishes but depending on which wheel they are you may no longer be able to get ally outers anymore unless they have some in that size ..if the radinox dish was an option that may be all that is now available... Hope that helps Vinesh

  7. The swerving under braking could well be a caliper sticking or binding. The squeaking could be the rear axle bushes rather than anything to do with the bearing . If you want to bring it down I will quite happily take a look at it for you..

  12. the image in the picture portays a stretch on a 7.5x15 wheel with a tyre that gave no problem going on and is used all round the vw scene... I have run those tyres on different 7.5 rims and they all look different. The problem that owen had on Edition38 was not checking his tyre pressure and letting it go down really low...thats why his tyre let go. Never had a problem with a tyre on a stretch coming off a rim .. to be honest most stretched tyres have to be fitted using a "cheetah" which blows out the sidewalls to the rim edge....allowing the tyre to seal..   15. Hi katie the codes need to be cleared first off... once this is done when problem occurs it will throw up crank sensor fault ..if crank sensor is faulty running lean could well be maf sensor ...
  16. the spal fans are very good value for money... Have used them plenty of times on jobs and work well ..
  17. You say you have new maf...is it fitted....??? Could be bad connection or supply to maf or possible lambda probe...
  18. Well in my Vr I use the Carbon cahrger system from Simota Racing which is patented by them...Its an absolutely awesome filter... increases in noise and power.....made from carbon and kevlar... I will post some pics up for you to see..
