  1. guys in an effort to create more business and attract more people , id like to ask you to search for JP Automotive on facebook and click on like.. alot of what i do is on there , along with some pricing for the more common parts. thx jim
  2. as craggsy said .. diff rollers read diff, take it all with a pinch of salt. and its trq as well as bhp
  3. dont bother with mega squirt, the o/e ecu will cope with the correct parts fitted and then altered to suit , contact me if you need info or prices
  4. just make a cold air shield for yours don . cost you under a tenner , and they do work i made 2bhp @ fly when i fitted 1 to an old scirocco gti i had. dont sound like alot, but inlet temps were lower and the filter didnt get heat soaked by the engine
  5. anyone want some then ? these are a good investment..
  6. lukey please refrain from using word such as those in your last post on a public forum .. you are entitled to your opinion, but please construct it in a way that others wont find offensive .
  7. ive asked gav about the locking wheel nut key, he has no idea whats happend to it .. cars looking nice btw
  8. yeah can do, ill recheck single prices and let you know . as not enough interest for a gb .. unless you can get 3 more peeps
  9. you cant but i can the mods done to dons car ( or gavs old car for those that no him ) were done with drive ability , trq and reliability in mind. bar the final drive mod, which tbh i dont think its worth doing unless your having the box out for some other reason, then its as far as you can go. yes you can fit a shrick , but for the cost , youd be better off going charged , be that super or turbo.
  10. john the mods don has , are a good example of what works in a n/a car.. exhaust , cams, filter, lightened flywheel , ecu remap .. email me at my email addy below if you would like more info or pricing on any of the above
  11. yeah give him a go.. i need to shift some more ecu's
  12. it could well be a 3 box system then.. the two box ones tend to be a bit throatier
  13. have you scanned it with vcds ? has it registered a fault code ?
  14. Kev, i said its a fools upgrade in as much as if it ain't broke don't fix it . don was asking what else he could do, which to be fair , isnt alot unless he spends a fair bit of money. the labour charges and sourcing of the part for the final drive , dont really make it a simple upgrade thats cost effective .. if the clutch was going or gone then fair enough , whilst its all out and off then do it. the 150mph was that gps'd or speedo reading ? as i only got 159.9 gps'd over a standing mile , and tbh i think it was more or less maxed .
  15. sorting it the pics as we speak
  16. now selling some new UM ones, with replaceable bearings... so no more buying a whole unit.. please see the market engine parts for details
  17. ive been using a solo guy for years.. its more the fitting than the screen itself .. he always takes his time , and the screens have always been fine . infact i ve used to him to reseal other people bodges ..
  18. no probs, you have my bat phone number
  19. might add, im sure craigs shrick wasnt mapped ... although maping a car may not add alot of bhp / trq , it will sort out the mess of a curve / driveablilty that just slapping parts on leaves.. this and the 3.68 fd , will have helped pete ..
  20. the 3.68 final drive will comprimise your top speed and make your economy worse on a longer run.. your choice but i wouldnt touch what aint broke .. maybe if it did break then think about it, but otherwise its alot if labour for a fools gain .
