thats were mine is, and its bolted straight to the maf housing .. then a nice smooth bend in 4" to the tubby and into that . ive had no problems, other than the bend being to severe goign to the turbo .. if its working properly filter type is irrelavent .. i had a few and thats the only problem ive encountered

in that case your maf aint far enough away .. send me a pic, and ill do the same.. you'll see what im on about then . you do need a good clearance, with minimal bends .

buy a rhd manifold ... pm me if you need one. far eaiser than relocating things that do not need to be moved -
fuel pump or the filter on the end is blocked or broke .. i did email him back with some suggestions. when was it uprated ?? has it been in there long .

i do pipercross 4" filters that are a direct fit for the bigger maf housing , let me know if you want a price or a hand with anything

no need for adjustable top mounts .. i run gaz adjustable damping shocks and p.i springs , and they do me fine .. i could do with a stiffer spring but the dampers work very well, 13 row will be ok , i use that on my turbo.. i can supply air filter, suspension etc .. drop me a pm if your intrested and ill work out some prices .

you will need , oil cooler, lots of tires, suspension and a decent cat back zorst and filter , and good pads / disc combo to start .. a remapped ecu wont hurt , and then you can add cams .. bar that they are pretty bomb proof , i've done lots in my vr6 turbo.. so im well versed to no what fails. gearboxes will be fine at your power level, unless its very unhealthly

You don't mean the carbon canister do u.. if so remove it and stick it down there.. aircon and chargers should not be a problem .

I'll post up the link when I get home. For those that are serious about this , remember I can supply the software you need. As well as spacers plate , the 4" maf and loads of other stuff. Bear with me if I'm a bit slow to reply , I'm very busy at the mo. If anyone wants me better to ring .

no bungy, same turbo , i know it fit's works and makes 389bhp .. 200 quid from the bay of E .. last one lasted 3 years of hard use .. so ill take a chance

ah good times.. well it seems my tubby is shot.. doesn't boost until late, and smokes like a 60 a day old person . lots of oil in the intercooler pipe.. excuse for new one then

ill get some upto date pics don, but its stood for a year so very dirty .. yep happy to have it back, just need to make time now to get it back on the road.. hopeing to mot it saturday .

recession or not, i work damm hard , and regreted selling it ..so when the oppurtnity came up , i snpped it up .. it needs work , but nothing more than when i sold it. be good to go back to the pod , and i might even join the vwdrc .. i reckon ill do quite well at the sportsman class.

yeah very very happy.. and i rolled the pipes ages ago to stop them popping off.. ran faultlessly on the way back. just a mot to sort , and a few cosmetic bits

picked it up and wow what a car 5 door - i like 5 mystic blue and a turbocharger so in short my new car , is my old car that i sold a year ago . just nned to mot it and sort a few bits and im good to go . wheelspin in 4th never gets old
