  9. yep been doing that since i had mine.. orange mail is a rip off, when i get a bundled 500 mb,, so i use htc mail , and get it all for free ..
  10. ok, so it runs , have a issue with the clutch pedal, but i believe that to be air in the line, even though i have bleed it .. gonna try for a mot on saturday and then make night racing (I fingers crossed ) it'll be a good run out for it.. i wonder what time a derv caddy van will do ?
  11. you will not get 193 bhp from just a remap.. you will however be able to obtain a fair bit more if you stick some cams in , a exhaust on and a filter .. a previous car made 218 bhp running a united motorsport remap , that i can supply. for reference, i made 199bhp and 190 lbft trq , with a ramair filter, six branch and stainless hashup exhaust . the biggest gain is in trq , not bhp as you are n/a. btw ditch the super 4 plugs they are gay, go with good ol ngk r's, 3-4 pounds a plug and will last long enough

  13. aha , diag connector sorted, fuse 21 had gone, so ill try to interrogate the ecu tommorrow
  14. yeah no problems, im sure its a fuse or two ..just weired that and the heather dont work. im alos moving the vagcom port to under the heater controls
  15. yes mate, but doesn't run with it plugged in, nor with the idle valve plugged in ??? i hate obd1 ... working on the obd port wiring and sorting out the wiring in general ... none of the stereo stuff works or the heater , so i reckon its a few fuses ... but all in all , a good day ..
  16. cant drive it until end of theis month parky, but i do want to get it how i want it .. got a few scrap yards to go raid. and the back to clean out, im thinking about using the pressure washer and some gunk, to degrease the inside
  17. ok engine in , ehxuast mounted, and it starts ... got a iffy ignition switch to fix but it runs .. got the clutch peda to bleed and we are there ..
  18. ok , tommorrow is a big day , derv engine to put in and get started .. should be achiveable.. lets see.. got the downpipe to mate to the exsisting exhuast system.
  19. oh yes , im the master of cheap fixes... this will deffo do you favours during the summer . for the autumn / winter months wipp it off. have you drilled the bottom of the box ... like swiss cheese? these will give you te noise back.. but at the risk of a bit of heat getting in.
  20. Yeh your car is obd2 , the map will be future proof , so u can add stuff and it will adapt to a point . All of the obd2 cars map.well , not a massive gain in bhp, but trq and driveability are massively improved , we also managed 42 mpg on a recent trip.to.Stafford.and.back . If u give is a ring ee can talk through options , number is in my Sig .
