  2. ok had day off today so i got on with my spraying and polishing this was after 20 mins this was after 45 mins this is after an hour and iv given up for now what ya all think?
  3. easy mate,no need to touch engine,as long as u can get under,i just jacked mine up coz its so low lol,and its just a case of being able to get to it mate i had mine off in 45 mins and i didnt know what i was doin,u gotta undo one p/s bracket at the front just so u have some room,but its no prob matey

  5. all i can say its a bloody squease! u really have to take EVERYTHING out to make sure it goes in properly mate,and its hard,but do-able if ur stong and have patience lol

  7. depends on area too mate,my mate bought a 5dr indian red vr with a fully rebuilt head and history with `115k for 800 quid,and took it to the ring,came bk and sold it for 1500,cant figura that one out myself lol how come i cant do that when i sell a car get some pics up mate so we can see body condtion etc then we could give a better guestimate

  11. nothin to worry bout mate mine even stopped squeakin coz i got up under the dash with a can of wd40 did the trick
  12. i work for vw mate and our machine at work is a great bit of kit,as posted above its all laser allined and does a great job
  13. right mines down approx 70-75 mm mate here she is at work yes she does scrape on some speed bump etc but generally mate she drives perfect,not too bumpy,and ride is good,handling is great too i would prob imagine she might handle better if i raised her up slightly but she looks so great being low i can live with it also iv been up on a local airfield and on flat tarmac the handling is 100% different from the road,couldnt have wished for any better ocansionally the splitter will rub,and might catch on higher speed bumps but iv only got see-sawed once and it looked well great lol but hell,

  16. is it worth changing the tensioner bolt? as its a 5 min job would thisa cause any damage if they main tensioners were worn? i mean it wouldnt put any undue pressure on them with a new one?

  21. yes to all the above lol,chhains u might as well change as its no more difficult once its apart and same with the clutch matey
