Doing the Eurothrash trip in 6 weeks and want to capture all the action! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2563&item=5971649766&rd
  4. My I did mine silver looks cool with my colour car and the wheels - gave them a good going over with a wire brush and painted them with a glossy silver hammerite - they dont get too dirty, just have to take the wheels off every couple of months to keep em looking fresh!
  5. Quite a few people have on here mate - best off doing a search for supercharger threads as they've been covered loads but you should expect to see around 250 - 260Bhp from bolting one on.
  6. Marvin T Matrian - threy are 17" BBS RX2's
  7. Could be a dodgy lead? Mines doing that at the moment when I pull away etc and on idle when its hot - had new leads at the start of december but ones knackered already, the sparks jumping to the head!
  8. I would say that sounds like a worn bush - had those exact symptoms on my old calibra and it was the lower wishbone bush - best to get it up on the ramps and take a look from underneath I reckon
  9. Hi guys - my dad owns a Golf V5 and the belt that runs pretty much everything (think its called the auxillary belt) needs replacing - any ideas how much he's going to be looking at to have it replaced? Cheers!
  10. Hi guys - Im in the process of removing the carbon canistor from my car to route a cold air pipe to the air filter & I assume I have to take the front bumper off to get to it? Hows that done? I can see the 3 bolts in the middle under the grill - where else is it attached? Is it a quick job? Cheers!
  11. Cheers - I just wanted something different really & they didnt cost me much so Im happy with them :0) Cliveyp - I got my bulbs from autobulbs direct on ebay - any H7 fitment will fit I think. Heres a link to the seller, they came the next day! http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Autobulbs-Direct-and-Ghost-Styling_W0QQssPageNameZl2QQtZkm
  12. I found out why my car has a misfire on sat - I was removing my carbon canistor and had the engine idling and could hear an electrical click and once I found out where it was coming from - I could see a spark jumping to the head fom the top of the metal part of the lead and this was causing the car to miss - the leads were only fitted at the beginning of December when I got it serviced so guess what - its going back! Thats something you can listen out for - would be easier to see in the dark though It seems to be worse when the cars hot [ Edited Mon Apr 11 2005, 09:26AM ]
  13. Nice one cheers I'll give that a go! Yeah for the MOT I'll swap just swap em over - it wont take 10 mins. I've got them setup ok at the mo just need to work out how u lower them as they are a bit high at the moment!

  16. Ha its brilliant isnt it! So funny! This is my fave - no disrespect to the pope intended!
  17. That is amazing! It sounds like an F1 car! I bet the owners of the Ferrari & the Lambo didnt expect to be overtaken by a Golf - glad he got past the Impreza though
  18. That looks the absolute nuts!!!! Dont think its finished though cant see any belts etc but I would love that in my car!
  19. I got my FK crystal fogs from Awesome Gti but shop around you'll probably find them cheaper in places such as ebay as Vento_VR6 says
  20. Hilarious! http://www.clubvibes.com/forum/topic.asp?whichpage=1&topic_id=336194 [ Edited ]
  21. Kamz - the fogs are the FK crystal items - cost around £85 from Awesome GTi - you just wire up your side lights for the cruise light look. JohnVr6 - they are the FK Powerlook headlights, I ordered them from Germany as I couldnt find them over here & I managed to get the bulbs for £7 a pair instead of £12 each from Halfords! Cheers Warren, just what I was looking for as I didnt want angel eyes or Mk4 style units - only downfall is they are LHD but I can live with that
  22. No not yet I'll take some on Sat though - they do look good, nice and subtle
  23. Fitted my FK Powerlook lights n bulbs - look much better than the OE lights and are much brighter! They take 2 H7 bulbs per light (had a bit of trouble finding out which ones they take) [ Edited ]
  24. I've seen a supercharged one and that shifted & sounded the nuts!!! Sounded like an F1 car coming at me! They look okish but I always hear that you have to keep them revving like a lot of Jap cars...Dont like the position of the gear stick - might be ok once you've got used to it though
